I have to go 12mm in the front and 15 in the rear. Im using stock 328i rims and its almost peeking out in the front 😅

because the rear tires are naturally wider so you want to offset it

Devil's advocate here: There is no reason to fit spacers on cars. There is no benefit. People only do it because they want a JDM ricer stance look or to make incorrect wheel sizes fit. If you want wider tires on an you have to actually buy good rims like Breyton Race GTSR, or Apex.
Here's a list of problems created by spacers:
-Added weight
-Messed up geometry
-Fenders rubbing & rusting (if you actually drive fast ex. Autobahn)
-Increased turning radius
-More maintenance & dirt & rocks thrown up

there are actually some benefits. I run a staggered setup wider in the rear, and fitting spacers on widens the entire wheelbase by nearly 30-40MM which does make a difference. If you fit the correct size on, you won’t rub or rust. It’s a cheap and effective fitment resolution, but there’s perceived cons to everything. good input though, thank you!

i haven't had any issues with spacers over the years. They give flexibility on wheel and tire sizes as not all wheels or sizes fit every car perfectly 🧐🧐🧐

I agree with you do. I admit that the spacers offer a better aesthetics look, but there are more cons...that's why I bought wider wheels
