That's the largest shower I've seen in a tiny home. Really like the green cupboards. Nice couple.
I love all the colors in this house! Interior and Exterior! I love the Green cabinets too!
PRO TIP: I lived on a 31' catamaran for 2 yrs, & searched forever to find the right W/D combo. The key is NOT to buy one that's ventless! It was a hard decision for me bc that meant creating a hole in the side of the boat, which you really don't want to do if you don't have to. But, I read 100s of reviews, & then found a vented w/D combo for around $1k. It makes a big diff bc using a drying rack is a pain, & creates a lot of moisture.

Their tiny house is SO beautiful! We loved the color scheme in the kitchen as well as their amazing tiles in the bathroom! They look spectacular! It's also great that they can move part of their counter around and make it like an island. Really beautiful tiny home!
Love that tiny community with the large lots and the community orchard on site! And the beautiful craftsmanship of the home! Thanks to the owner for breaking down the finances. This couple is obviously making great decisions at this stage of their life. Having a much nicer place to live than an apartment at the same price, with monthly costs set to go down in the future along with full ownership of a high-demand asset - great planning!
I don't like the idea of Paying Rent to live in a Tiny House, but I liked how they broke it down!
When Rent + Tiny = Similar area Rent, that's when it starts to make sense. They're basically getting the Tiny House for free because of lower rent, and have more options moving forward to buy land, shop around for other parking spots, or build another tiny years down the road when they find out what they like and dislike about it and have a better design idea.
This makes me want to price shop around and see how much cheaper rent for a tiny would be comparted to house/apt rentals in my area!!!
The bath sink being atop counter is a vessel sink as a pedestal sink stands on its own pedastal.. Great fun features make it warm and inviting. Cheers to the Aesthetics and function ,

What a great tiny! I love the green cabinetry combined with the wooden countertop. The Mexican tiles in the shower are beautiful, plus the large tinted windows allow light to come in without overheating the place. Your dog seems to enjoy it too. We found a rare gem, a deeded tiny home community in Colorado right in the heart of the Rockies! They call this area the banana belt because the weather is so nice and it’s usually bright and sunny.
It’s called Chateau Chaparral, in Nathrop CO. We love this community and feel so lucky to have found a lot that we own!

Cute couple. The green cabinet are really nice. Love all the touches from Mexican artist! Also l love the fact that after only 3 years the house will be totally paid for! This young couple will be able to save alot of money for their future. Really wonder.
I love there tiny as well and was surprised about how short a time-frame there is for their mortgage. I'm not sure if they are doing this already, but if not it's a really great way to pay it off in half that time. All they need to do is save up at least the equal amount that ONE month costs and make sure to apply that money directly to the PRINCIOLE only. When paying a standard 30 yr mortgage it will take it down to a fifteen yr mortgage just by doing it one yr. BUT if you can afford it and there is no prepayment penalty then apply an extra payment to the principle as much as you can afford. Not only do you become mortgage free sooner, but you save by not having to pay as much interest. So it truly is a win win situation. At least it is for the home buyer.

What a great build! One thing I’ve heard over and over about washer dryers… make sure that the drain connection is at floor level. Or, install your machine on at least a two foot high base-the combos are super efficient, but they need some gravity to drain well enough. Good luck! lovely features in this home, the colors and tile are really nice. A large yard and having a garden is something I have not seen in the tiny home villages before.
I watched a tiny home video the other day and the owner had found a solution for her ladder than swung up and out of the way and easily came down when needed. Good luck in your beautiful home

It looks like a twin mattress would work as a coach seat and then a high-quality crib mattress (shorter then twin) could work as the chaise lounge portion and allow for a fixed spot or turn it sideways as a coffee table so they can both put their feet up when they watch a movie.

I love the dog! I agree with him about the ladder. Seems like it's the only feature that is awkward. Too bad it can't be stored against a wall.
Check Costco. They have a 3 seat small sofa with a chase lounge. The Chase has storage, too. It pulls out to make a bed, as well.
Expensive cost for the parking spot...plus utilities, geesh! Nice design features in the home, thank for sharing.

Love the house. At 16:12 the scenic is going backwards :) It was funny to see the big rig going backwards at decent speed, made me look deeper into it haha. But really, I love the house, the design and colors, and the size. I had seen another 24' with a different setup, but Id like mine to have a easy stair like yours, so it was nice to see that :)
Bigger than expected. Loved the spacious downstairs. Bathroom and especially that shower are amazing. I hate ladders and crawling around though.

Very nice house!. I just would move the ladder to a better place to store. I saw one that was on runners and you just slide it into the ceiling. And I would build out the box step so that you come in and have a full platform in front of the door and then a step down fine!

I probably missed it in the video if you're in this area because of employment there are so many beautiful Lots even in wooded areas for a lot less than you're paying there so I didn't know if you could travel around or if your job keeps you there

Nice house, I like the color scheme inside. I think my biggest concern in going the tiny house lifestyle is the lot rent. The apartment rental is the same as what I'm hearing lot rent alone. Not good for a low income person on social security.
Depends greatly on where you live. You CANNOT rent an apartment for $650 in Durango. You can't even rent a room in a house for that amount. So what they're paying is very reasonable for this area.
$700-800 is a lot of money for park fees that you can't get back or write off on your taxes. Location is also of critical importance...far enough away from the city to enjoy quiet & nature yet still close enough to drive there within 15 minutes. I'd probably spend far more time to look for the local parcels of land & set up shop there.
