It's deffinitely a great city, but there are so many different beautifull places and I feel like she could have done a better job showing the diversity of this country..
I agree. More County side.
The wather coust in the north, with the City Lübeck, mountens in the south with casel schwanenstein. All the beatiful Rivers with all the old castel. The woods and lakes all around Germany.

Definetly a great experience and something I'd recommend!
Definitely check out the coast, it's pretty neat up here

Well I have a few points and it would be nice if someone likes this, so he can see my comment.
First, the museum thing. I never thought about it but now that it’s mentioned I realised that we even have a museum in a village of 5,000 people. Then I noticed that you often said “look how beautiful this is” about pictures of a city and I always just thought “that is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen” but I don’t like cities and the ones in America, not to be offensive, are probably uglier. And then the last thing I wanted to say is, Berlin might be beautiful in the eyes of many people, but I agree to the person who said it’s ugly because I simply don’t like cities and the bigger the city the less I like it. I’m someone who likes the nature a lot so I was quite sad that only a few non-city-things were in this video. Thank you for reading 🙏🏾
There is something like six flags called „Europa Park“. U need to visit it when u are in Germany! It’s such an amazing Park!

"Are you allowed to fly drones in Germany?" In general, yes, although it can be not allowed in specific locations, including some protected natural and historical monuments. However, it is mandatory to purchase third party insurance (in case you damage someone's stuff by crashing your drone into it or cause an accident by drivers getting distracted).
LIVING IN A CASTLE:
There are actually many castles for sale in Germany.
You can buy a very run down for "little" money. But you will have to maintain it and that is not cheap. For some millions you can get a nice one. But of course nothing like Eltz castle
That one is still owned by the Earls of Eltz and they have a lot of visitors all the time (except during pandemic). I've been there a few times. It is close to the Mosel river but somehow hidden in a side valley - no way to see that one from a street, because there is none close by.
The other park is called "Europa -Park".
I would say the most beautiful area in Germany is the so called "Mittelrhein" or "Mittelrheintal". Not only because I live there, but it has soooo many wonderful sights like castles, fortresses, vinyards, forests, villages and cities that you definitely must see when visiting Germany. Also the Rhine is one of the most important and most busy waterways in the world. Make sure to visit Koblenz and let me know when you're here. I always have cold beer! ;)
And, of course, the Lorelei.

FLYING DRONES IN GERMANY
- not above people
- must keep line of sight
- not higher than 100m
In certain places forbidden.
Look up if it is allowed in a place before use :)
And
- must be registered as pilot
- must have insurance
- depending on takeoff weight of your drone (above 250g, i.e. anything but tiny drones) you'll need to pass a test to acquire a piloting license
unless you prepare well and somehow get insurance you can forget about flying drones in the EU as a visitor. It's on the other hand almost impossible to fly around interesting sights anyways. There are either people below or you would loose visual line of sight (i.e. can see drone with naked eye at all times). In case of the castle you would probably violate the rules because it's a residential property and you don't have explicit permission of the owner.

In my opinion Heidelberg is one of the most beautiful German cities, especially when there's the so called "Schlossbeleuchtung"(I think it's called like that, it's just pure beauty!
Totally right. We have it three times a year every summer. 🎇 😁🥰
Ah yes, beautyfullest, my favourite word
As someone who has lived in Heidelberg for many years, I totally agree! Heidelberg during fall is also pretty awesome! :3
Also a lot of americans study here
I think it was in the intro, the castle illuminated in deep red, but they didn't mention it.
I live in Berlin and as a "Berliner" I can say it’s really dirty but as a tourist it is beautiful ❤️
You‘ve to visit austria too. Cities like vienna, graz and innsbruck are beautiful and the nature is gorgeous.
Österreich ist beschissen!
Theme Parks: Europa Park, Heide Park, Movie Park, Phantasia Land and Hansa Park (worth visiting 😊)
i been in heide park and hansa park... and at least those two: yes, worth it.
I am from Berlin and I can assure you that it’s not boring! I just think you have to know the right places, because it is a big city so of course there are districts that are nicer and have more to explore than others.
All in all I would definitely recommend a trip to Berlin, I love this city and it’s definitely worth it if you are interested in museums, club life, food, etc. :)
me being a german who hasn't know half the places in germany, I feel betrayed by my parents and my school not telling me these places exsist
You should definitely check out the German Wine Route or "Deutsche Weinstraße". It's one of the most beautiful places in my opinion.
Also called the Tuscany of Germany 😉🍷🍇
@@hanniwe exactly 😁
11:15 I'm living in Berlin since I was 13 and love it so much that I wasn't able to leave this city 🙈
It's such an interesting and vivid place, with a crazy nightlife and diverse things to do and to see - I haven't had the chance to see so much of it, because there's way too much!! You can sit at the river Spree, go to the Grunewald forest, see museums, visit Germany's oldest cinema (where you can see movies in OL btw) or go to cultural events (open mic session, art galleries, smaller jazz sessions in summer the "Karneval der Kulturen" and so on). It is a city with many parks and green areas and the city Potsdam, which also has a really interesting history is easily to reach with the S-Bahn. Berlin is built up with not one center, but many distinct centres what makes the whole city look differently depending on where you are. At some places the city is very dirty, at some it's not. But interestingly, many people living here think that there also lays beauty in the dirt. Furthermore, it is very international since there are 4 universities (+ Potsdam university), fashion designers and artists, many immigrants, that helped building up Berlin after WWII and settled and last but not least the crazy nightlife.
Important to know!!
Go in there in summer!!! In summer it's wonderful and you can make so many interesting outside experiences. In winter it is just grey and frustrating.
The most beautiful city I've ever seen is Nuremberg. I was there on a class trip and there is a castle in the middle of the city from which you can see the whole city. It was just amazing
Freut mich sowas hört man irgendwie selten😊 Grüße aus Nemberch
I live in the town right next to Nuremberg. We even have a own castle (Faber-Castell) at the city border.
"Imagine going to a party in a castle!"
There are parties in various castles - Check out Castrum Nigra gothic party on castle Ehrenburg. It may not be a castle Elz, but it's an extraordinary experience (and it's fairly close to Elz, coincidentally).
Berlin is okay but I think in the south are many more old castles like Heidelberg
Burg Eltz!!!
The Rheinland has the most castles. It is beautiful
Thats not true. Bavaria has the most, then comes Baden Wurttemberg, 3rd Northrhine Westfalia, rhineland is place 8🤦🏼♂️
@@CrazRaf i meant the rhineland, not Rheinland-Pfalz. Region, not state
And the best dialect. Platt is just the best of them all
@@kaylajorden1075 still not the most😅
@@CrazRaf also i do not claim to know everything that's just what the german schools taught me in german and history classes...
All you saw in this video is for real, the Raddison Blu Hotel is a company and has Hotels in each bigger city of Germany. But if you want to experience the real Germany I would suggest you to rent out a room in a "Gasthaus", which means, you'll have direct contact to how the germans live (in fact you simply rent a house/flat where usually Germans live in). Also the type of house you meant is "to good to be true" is a common house in Northern Germany. If you come in Spring month you'll discover the most beautiful flowers in Germany, while in Autumn and Winter you can count with a lot of rain or cloudy weather and less flowers.
Another suggestion: visit Hamburg, it's one of the most lovely places.
The sad part : Many Germans dont know those places either. They think they need to travel 100s of miles to see something amazing, but Germany is amazing too if you care too look for it :)
There are so many old buildings also in the smaller towns of Germany which are very very beautiful. It was so much joy to watch this video!
another video? youre crazy boi sheesh! Grüße aus Österreich, ehre!
James, your German was honestly on point for some stuff you said. Good job! Almost accent-free.
Trier!
It's the oldest city in Germany and there are plenty old buildings from the Romans...
i actually moved to trier a few weeks ago :D so i agree its beautiful!!
Him: probably USA, USA USA *makes weird barking sound
Every non American: *cringes
Definitely. And it's France 😁
My dog began to bark lol
Its like i have never seen 90% of all this places and im living in germany my whole life!
The Bierpinsel is closed today so you can not go into it. It is located in berlin/steglitz and is only 5 bus stations away from the botanic Garden. 👍🏻
I also recommend to take the bus 100 which will get you to plenty of the Berlin sights. A Ticket is 3 Euros.
I'm surprise the didn't show the Hallig landscape and the north sea "Wattenmeer". It's special.
Ja, schade! Bist du ein Hallig-Jung oder Mädel? Grüße an dich!
Its a "Berlin" video for the most part anyway, so dont be too sad. The north sea region requires a video of its own ;)
Watching this the aqua dome cracked a few weeks ago and is totally destroid now… flooted all the streets
Ja xD James so: "You have [insert name of tube aquarium thingy]?!" und ich: "Apparently."
Schloss Neu Schwanstein Europa Park etc.
@@leDespicable Stimmt
A very very very beatiful "Stadt" in Germany is Trier
I second that - not least because I live there :)
I wanted to mention Trier as well, it´s so beautiful and I like Roman architecture so I just had to visit!
It also is the oldest city in Germany!
Ne Mannheim
So true, it is one of the most beautiful cities, maybe even the most beautiful, but I won't judge, because I live there :)
You absolutely HAVE to visit the Harz national park, its beautiful and the narrow gauge railway(s) are awesome!
Center of Dresden is beautiful and many other places like this!
Many ‚OLDSCHOOL‘ Buildings are out there!
Watch it!
What's 6 flags? 😂 We have Europapark, one of the largest parks in the world!
Fire video tho!! 🔥🔥
The aquadom is in the Radison blu hotel in Berlin in the "Karl Liebknecht Straße". I recommend to pick one of the inner rooms. Watching the Aquarium from your window in the evening is so beautiful.
Cologne is also a great place.
Cologne Cathedral with the Three Kings Shrine, Chocolate museum, Roman-German museum, carnival, etc.
one more point for your travellist in germany is a tourist ship tour on the "Mittel-Rhein" which is called the "Burgen und Schlösser Tour / castle tour"
Berlin is a great place to visit when you are in germany for only a couple of days. Because of its more recent historical importance, a lot if tourist guides, especially non-german, focus their attention there. But there are thousands of interesting places. Cities like Berlin, Hamburg or Munich can keep you occupied for at least a week without getting boring, while these places themselves only represent a very small part of germany.
If you wanted to enjoy all the stuff that was presented in the video, you would probably need at least a months worth of vacation.
They should have made a separate video about Berlin...
So many beauties who are not in Berlin were not named.
What no Frankfurt
Make a Rhein-Mosel tour. There are the most beautiful places, like castle of Eltz
yea, they are!
If you wanna visit Germany, I'd suggest Bamberg, a relatively small town near Nuremberg. It has georgeous architecture, mostly old buildings, a great church, multiple breweries and its own special beer (Schlenkerla, a smoked beer). There's also a bunch of pubs and of course tourist shops and a bus that drives you around the city (with a couple stops) that comes every half hour or so.
i wonder why those videos never mention Helgoland... Germanys only open sea island. toll free shopping included. you should consider a trip there.
