Inazuma (Genshin Impact) Wind Orchestra Arrangement

I just love the Japanese style music from this area!

During my first semester playing in the UMD Gamer Symphony Orchestra, we played a transcription of Inazuma from "Genshin Impact." I was playing one of the percussion parts that did not play for half of the piece so I got a chance to really listen to the music and loved it! While I have never played Genshin Impact before, I fell in love with the music that was composed for it. Since then I have listened to a bunch more Genshin pieces and really come to love the soundtrack.
This arrangement was one of the toughest to record just due to the sheer number of parts I had to record. Recording an entire concert band one part at a time using a lot more instruments that I am new to was incredibly difficult. There are a lot of instruments in a Wind Orchestra that I do not know how to play and do not own, so those were substituted by instruments I can play. Overall, it still makes a pretty nice, full, band sound that is pretty close to an actual Wind Orchestra. The sheet music above is for the original Wind Orchestra, not the weird instrumentation I used. ALSO there are quite a few new instruments that I have used in this video! This video debuts my flugelhorn, alto flute, and trombone! The alto flute I have just been borrowing from school, the flugel and trombone are my personal instruments that I will continue to use in future videos!
