What has kyrie done that warrants trusting him with a max contract?
@@thebrogressiveagenda9936 gave the nets relevancy. record ticket and merchandise revenue. that alone is worth it besides the nets still being miles better than they've ever been with kd n kyrie on the court even amidst any perceived drama. what have the nets done to make these all time greats want to stay there when any other team would have them?
@kweiffber guhllar I see you're conveniently forgetting all his off the court issues, unreliability and just overall toxic demeanor. What did they fumble exactly? One playoff series win during his entire tenure?
@@thebrogressiveagenda9936 those things u listed would be "perceived drama". the nets were still better than they've ever been throughout all this. if u dont see how the nets bottom line immediately plummets after trading the 1st and second leading asg vote getters at their positions for picks and role players then idk what to tell u. but they fumbled sold out seats, they fumbled sold out jerseys, they fumbled all star weekend promo, they fumbled 3 ALL TIME GREATS, they fumbled any realistic chance at a chip, they fumbled their stock prices, they fumbled their national air time... i can keep going
@kweiffber guhllar if you can't see that the nets were ready to get off the kookie kyrie Krazy train because of all the drama which were mostly because of him and his decisions then you're just being delusional
I am happy KD got away from the Nets. Ya’ll wanted him to stick around for what? To play with 7ppg Ben Simmons? Who is getting paid 35mil? 🤷🏾♀️ Joel Embiid didnt want to play with him whilst he averaged 16ppg .KD’s gave the nets his all , played his heart out for 3 years and the FO failed to manage Kai, Ben, and James. Thats on them not on KD
1 month later the Brooklyn Nets are in a better place and back to winning! Kyrie might not even make the playoffs and Durant back injured.
kyrie and kd took the nets money and only have one playoff series to show for it it's pathetic. the nets did everything for them and this is what they have been left with a rebuild after 4 years.
Did everything for them? Good one.
@@brendanbloom3366 so the nets didn't kiss their ass for 4 years and give them everything that didn't happened? smart guy
@@johnpestano22 Nets didn't push back on the dumb vaccine mandate (home players can't play unless vaccinated, but visiting players are free to play regardless of vaccination status) like the Mets and Yankees did (and successfully got it rescinded).
@@johnpestano22 no it didn’t. Way to pay attention. They wanted Ty lue not Nash. I highly doubt they wanted to lose Jeff green and Bruce brown for absolutely nothing. Not letting kyrie play games he’s eligible to on the road while kd plays 44 minutes is kissing their ass? Suspending kyrie over a video link is kissing their ass? Not signing a backup center is kissing their ass? Not extending kyrie and trying to trade him is kissing their ass? Putting in a championship stipulation for kyrie to get his money is kissing their ass? Keep believing clueless loudmouths in the media lmao.
@@johnpestano22 it’s a players league. Clearly they didn’t like kyrie. Doesn’t matter, you keep a healthy relationship with your star players. They’ll never get stars again and can enjoy mediocrity and low attendance from hear on out. Joke of a franchise. Kd and kyrie will be competing for championships while nets remain a laughingstock.
They didn't have the right players.. Brooklyn brought Durant , Kyrie and Harden to the team for Hype and bringing fans to the stands and it all backfired on Brooklyn.. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture and wonder if certain players are gonna gel together to help the team win .. Look at 2004 with the Lakers signing Karl Malone and Gary Payton to play with Shaq and Kobe .. 4 of the best players in the league on the Lakers and it didn't work out Detroit Pistons rolled over them 4-1 in the NBA Finals... When you create a 3 headed or a 4 headed monster it proves once again it can lead to an Uttah fallier !
Let me ask this everyone who didn't win a championship in the last 4 years did they waste 4 years of their career
Michael stop the Knicks will be studied on how to fail for 20
Decades.
Tbh this comes close to the Oakley incident. We learned the disgust a lot of the players for Dolan. You don't think the word is out about the nets front office? I can't see a superstar signing for a while unless the front office isnt there. They mightve chosen the "wrong guys" but the stars are rich too. Tsai with his rinky dink office needed to humble himself n think about fans instead of his own ego. They pretty much lost whatever fan base existed. Back to giving tickets for free.
Wtf is the primrose path
😂😂😂
cook mike
Marks is the biggest Twib he had a opportunity to win and he picked Steve Nash to run this team smh that what happens when you hire friends
Cam Thomas is a guy to build around.
Shawn marks gotta go...
1 move changes a team from 20th to 1st place 🤣 this is your nba league! Pretty weak
Draymond Green is more valuable than Kyrie Irving. He's a leader and puts the team before himself.
You crazy😂 remember when draymond got ejected and lost the warriors the finals.
Nets management, JOKE!!!
Exactly
Maybe Kyrie is a plant from LeBron to torpedo Durants career so LeBron can stay number 2 to Jordan 😂😂
Kd was not going to play with draymond ever again
As a Knicks fan, couldn’t be happier watching that joke dumpster fire team fail.
as if the Knicks haven't been a dumpster fire franchise for the past 24 years.
@@bl4ckst0ne You’re making my point
@@bl4ckst0ne yeah post Ewing been bad but this year looking like a possible 5th seed
@@bl4ckst0ne nets are a bigger one 😂😂😂
Why are Knicks fans so giddy lol?
These guys very good players but all individual players. This is the state of the NBA today. The days of loyalty and and developing players and systems are over. This is why I stopped watching the clowns in the NBA 5 years ago. Owners and players are out of touch. They want instant Championships like Instant coffee. This is what Lebron James started this shit.
zero titles after a year or so.. Ky and KD - hmmm where should I go next? LOL
Lol
The league is terrible
Irving is teash
Learn how to spell
What’s “teash”?
Ops trash
Yesssssss Michael Kay!...JP
This guy sounds like slavery still exists.
I can't stand Michael Kay
Kyrie punked him out plain and simple
I don’t think kyrie punked him. They are literally friends. I think this would have to do something with the third highest payed player on the nets.
Kyrie
@@dolukiri he did got punked bc he followed kyrie he never held him accountable just like M Kay said. kyrie is not better then KD yet KD backed him through everything and kyrie left him.
First
What an accomplishment
Wooooooooo! U were first kid 🎈🎉🥳 What r u gonna do now? I know what u should do...
Damn... it's crazy how right they are
I agree with you 100% Michael Kay it was all about greed for those two men Kyrie Irving does he care about nobody by Kyrie I found a funny at the Kyrie what is trade it two days later at 1:50 AM in the morning KD Wanted to be traded I think that was your plan all along they should not be able to keep the money she stayed in a finish out their careers with the Brooklyn Nets they should have to return the money since they were both trade it
