Stuff i like to see. Inside the cab/sleeping quarters, highways, roads, towns, truckstops, with the name of the town and roads that you travel. Many places are bypassed now and the landscape always changes, film while you can! Keep up the good work mate, looking forward to the next.

G'day mate, honestly a head or chest mounted camera would be an interesting POV for those that haven't spent time behind the wheel. Whilst I've never driven semi's, B/D's or trains... after 17 years and over 1 million kms behind the wheel of rigids the feeling was always amazing. I stepped away from driving professionally 12 months ago but if things align I may be back in another 12 months. Descending Greenmount Hill in Western Australia with Boys from the Bush cranking at midnight whilst watching the lights of plane making its descent into Perth is one image I will never grow tired of. Keep the camera's rolling mate!

Love your content so far. I think you have represented watsons in a very positive way. I wouldnt be suprised if they have had an influx of people looking for a job.. I'm just not sure about the all night driving. or I would have given them a call. I am a bit of a night owl. but I'm getting tired around 3am. I'm sure that the body clock would adjust with time. I think I want to find somewhere where I can drive till I'm tired and then sleep. without having to push through for a deadline.

I just gave a manual truck back to them mate as I was using it while mine was in the shop it’s in the next Vlog didn’t think to get an actual shot of the gear stick until right now 🤦♂️
I ran into exactly this same problem when I tried to do the same thing at my work (TV Broadcasting) My boss took a very tough stance and I was ordered to delete all my footage straightaway. Love your channel by the way mate :)

@@crossfamilytrucking It was very dramatic-i'd taken a whole heap of arty behind the scenes shots and posted them up on my Instagram page of cameras, the control room-no faces etc. But i made the mistake of tagging the job i was working on-The AusOpen Tennis..they complained it didnt fit in with 'their branding' I was ordered to delete all images right there and then by my boss and not to do it again or face employment termination. I was referred to the Employment Contract for that job which stated all pictures had to be authorised. So now Im careful not to tag any pics i take and carefully frame my shots i take at work-mostly now i post very few pics at work

At least you now have closure about filming and not having fear of it costing your job. That was very kind of Don Watson's to allow it still, but just to make changes. They're basically covering themselves with those rules, which is fair enough. It gives you an opportunity to really think of other ways you can do your videos, but not being able to talk while driving kind of sucks I guess.

When I first started out my drone and I was always getting in trouble. haha. Now it's not so bad. I usually ask for permission to film when going to different sites so I think I've got it down now. Yes just keep looking for different stories to take and always have fun making them.

Good on Dons to communicate with you and not just sack you out of the blue over it. Their guidelines are there for good reasons but..... the interacting with a headstrap on is a bit harsh, i wouldve thought uhf or changing radio stations would be a bigger distraction. Wonder if theyd let you mount the gopro outside or back in the sleeper away from you with a wireless mic? you wouldnt be interacting or touching the camera then. Keep up the good content bro.

It’s the way it is, I load fly ash out of a lot of power stations in Qld nsw and sa, and the first thing they tell you is no cameras on site, same with down the ports
