As a former airline employee, I will explain to you why there are shoe shine stands in airports. In their hay day, commercial airlines mandated strict dress codes and combined this with hygiene requirements. Followed by random monthly/ sometimes weekly/ (& always when passing through headquarters) inspections of wardrobe & hygiene. One of the most common requirements with all airlines across the world, is having neat clean & polish black wing tip shoes for pilots & heels for flight attendants. Lesson for the day is complete. Great show. Good job.

@@seedsoflove7684 I think it's primarily for the flight crew. They probably have more money than time. You'd think a decent employer would provide a service like that if that's what they expect from their staff but this was back when there really were no serious consequences for treating your employees like dirt (looking at you Bezos).

Why do people even watch comedy if they can't candle stereotyping and won't even stop to notice that this guy is actually making fun of the stereotypes talkes about. There's is double meaning to nearly all jokes. Really great.

They watch it because they're looking for an excuse to virtue signal without actually doing anything virtuous.
Hes very scruffy looking, if your on tv entertaining the world Dress to impress or look good, not like youve just stepped out of a skip. This applies to everyone in the entertainment industry.
Perhaps to get triggered and look for an excuse to engage "SUPER SAIYAN SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIOR!!1!11!1!!1!!", and thus avoid introspection and self-work..?
The white guilt jokes are overrated and overused. It's boring. No different than when black people do it. There's so much more to comedy than relying on your skin color.
I like this guy. He's easy going, feels like sitting around with a funny friend just chillin' and laughing. 🤣

I was floored by how little of a response he got back from that crowd, because this comedy set was brilliant and hilarious! He's definitely got a new supporter in me though. This was great; so much material that was clearly original.

Most comedians will do a joke half that smart, get a great laugh, and make a snide comment about how the audience is too dumb to get the joke they just totally got.

When he mentioned things like Spirit Airline or dating or vegetarians/vegans, I thought, "Oh, okay, this again." But he made them fresh and original, from new angles. Really enjoyed him!

I thought this guy was funny, cute, very appealing and had a sly sense of humor which clearly showed that he was highly intelligent.
Jason talks about Germans being involved in one of the worst events in history, and then he starts doing a German accent. But it wasn't a mean German accent. It was happy go lucky German accent.
So it's like saying "Yeah, Germans used to be terrible, but they can also be silly." It's a refreshing viewpoint.
Not to mention that the most hated German was Austrian.🙄

There were a few very clever lines there that didn't get the recognition they deserved. I think it might have taken a bit longer than average for the joke to land. I know a couple took me that extra moment, but they were the best lines.
