  • After something was dropped on my X32 two of the faders were playing up. This video shows how to replace the faders.
Do not attempt unless you are competent with electronics or if your X32 is still under warranty.

2 most important parts of the whole video were blocked by an arm, then out of focus.

I had two faders that were mucking up. I unscrewed it like you have shown and just blew compressed air into it. This dislodged a few hairs that were in it and it works fine now without replacing the faders (Have done about 400-500 shows so far!)

Could you help me to get a behringer x32 Main PCB board please ? I’m having issues with the one I’m using.

Good evening, about two days ago I changed all the motorized Faders on my Behringer but I don't know what happened, because now I play the same scenes and everything is heard very quietly... even with the Faders at 100%. We have even had to put 4 db more in a digital processor to see what happens, but I'm sorry everything sounds underpowered to me.

How about cleaning them with electric cleaner and then using fader lube on them? Mine are getting dirty from doing shows in the desert. I use an air compressor to clean mine, but a couple faders are beginning to stick or sit in wrong position and the volume control is not smooth anymore on the one fader. The console isn't even a year old yet.

You should have cleaned the flux on that board after soldering.. the flux is like acid and will eat away at the PCB

I just loved your video, but there is one thing I noticed, when you were prefixing the new faders or fader, those places were out of focus, any reason

Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately my camera starts hunting to focus sometimes, it's very annoying and not intentional.

@@PeteGaryga The disadvantage of wanting to make a video alone, without controlling what is filmed.
A friend can do that, the video would be better. See your forearms rather than see what you unsoldered it's silly.

In my church i have a couple of faders that are not working and another two showing signs of wearing. board is about 4 years old and we got it in a period when church went thru a lot of renovations, so lots of dust/cement and other debris in the environment, didn't expect faders to last this long
