Worth noting, this process is only for M32. X32 have to remove bank of 8 faders, desolder the faulty fader from the board, disconnect motor, then place new one in, solder in place and reconnect motor
I have had 6 faders on 8 consoles fail but I was able to fix them all without replacing them. On the fader motor is a two piece nylon gear, the two pieces can separate, you only need to push them together and put the belt back on. Easiest to do with the fader removed.
I had an issue with my x32's fader and the belt just slipped off and I was able to put it back o and it was good as new. i now had a m32 and fader 9 works sort of but it kind of stiff and clunky, and likes to rest in 4 different positions. Is I possible my belt just slipped off. maybe the fader got pushed when it was stero linked
I am sure that old fader was still good. All you had to do was put the belt back on and maybe push the plastic gear down. Hammer finale was painful to watch!
Got an answer from Music Tribe in Vegas. community.musictribe.com or care@musictribe.com The Midas M32 uses a Midas Pro Series fader, but it is a variation modified to fit into the MIdas M32. The Midas Pro Fader works but does not fit without dremel tool modifications. I elected to order this part fader from Music Tribe directly for about $31US and $10 shipping. Midas M32 Fader is P/N A09-B3I00-AV000
You should explain exactly which screws need to be removed, and what size Torx drivers are needed. It's not possible to figure out from this video. Do you happen to know where the CPU board is?

Can u just replace the motor rotors instead of changing the whole fader panels... ? Asking

Trying to get an answer. Is the Behringer X32 motor fader compatible with the Midas M32? (the Midas M32 Fader is P/N A09-B3I00-AV000)
No clue Skip.

Sorry for that. We weren't going as detail as we probably should. Haven't looked for the CPU Board either...
How old was this fader? I hear there good for a million cycles . Or was it just a fluke faulty fader . Just wondering
The pulleys tend to be the problem on most

Does Not Work for the Behringer
where did you get your parts from?
got them from the distributor. they are hardly available at any "musician-consumer-store"
@@21hzbacklineconcert95 ok...I am actually in need of a replacement solo button for an m32r
@@musketteer99 check musictribe, they should be able to help you

This only applies to M32. Not for X32!
you are absolutely correct.
