Jean is experiencing dissociation, she can see her memories but she’s not connected to them, she can’t feel them. Sinister violated her so the implication and allegory here is similar to that of a rape victim. Jean kissed Logan because he was the first person she was able to feel & connect with when she returned from being kidnapped.
I understand its frustrating with jean and cyclops but unfortunately its part of their characters. Cyclops is not exactly innocent when it comes to women, especially telepaths and its gotta be weird for Jean that scott has a whole baby wirh another woman, who just happens to be an exact copy of her. Their complicated romance is what makes them the characters they are and i applaud this show for actually tackling complicated relationships.

No one was ready for this episode. My heartstrings got yanked. This one cut deep. Gambit was my favorite, aside from Storm. According to Beau DeMayo, Episodes 8, 9 and 10 will hit so much harder. We aint prepared for what's coming. Man, screw the bowl of cereal, stock up on kleenex.

Jean kissed Logan once while confused sorting out her memories. Scott purposely pursued Jean's clone. They are not the same situation. What Scott was doing he knew was wrong, Jean did not.
Both Jean and Scott was wrong. Yes she is going through something and we can understand but that doesn’t make it any less wrong than what Scott did.
@@niara2411Scott was also confused and in an emotional vulnerable position as he had lost his son and was in grief. And the only one he could talk to about it, the only one who could understand is Madeline. The woman who he married thinking she was Jean. They never confirmed when the switch occurred so for all we know Madeleine is his wife. And the mother of his son , they share a parental bond, they share the same grief and pain.
@@niara2411 What the problem is that you are saying both situations were equal when they are not. context matters. Jean was confused, which is excusable while Scott knowing what he was doing was a betrayal of trust is far worse. Not making Jean a Hypocrite at all.
Scott spend years with both Jeans. Not only that, Jean's clone is also the mother of his child. It's not as simple as saying that he is wrong. He is in a very confusing situation and there's no handbook for what any of them are going through.

You can’t be mad at Jean not be mad at Scott, both were in the wrong but Scott over did it since he’s been cheating telepathically for a MONTH.
The world is full of short nimble people and some of them can act. You don't need to cgi nightcrawler, except his hands and tail.
