Oh man, I LOVE the idea of a leader simply getting access to two classes. Going to check this out for sure.
Lynn rollin' a lot of 11's, best check them dice!! 🤨
I'm watching this on March 2024 cause now I'm interested in little skirmish games and if they have old or weird miniatures, the better. I love how you decorate your reports, they're always too funny to see.
"they're a bit unsavoury, but still alive" me too, me too... :)
What a fantastic game! I thoroughly enjoyed this game, I love seeing the restored terrain getting used. All the lovely vintage models and just great times the pure joy at 30:18 is what these games are about!
Great battle report. I'm looking forward to getting my copy of these rule. Already a fan of Space Weirdos. I appreciate the smaller skirmish level and lesser known games you highlight and have picked up a couple from watching your battle reports. Keep up the good work!
Love these battle Reports. I may try out this game or Space Weirdos with our group. I'd like to see more Grimdark Future or Grimdark Future Firefight!
really appreciate this kind of gameplay footage - cheers guys, thanks for posting!
Thank you for sharing this game I ended up picking up both of them. My wife and I are learning the mechanics at the moment.
I have to say thanks for this video. Was thinking to myself this morning, “When is the OldHammered group going to put out their next video, because i can’t wait!” You ask for things, sometimes you get them. Thanks!
Great batrep! Glad to see a fantasy version of Space Weirdos. Looking forward to getting a copy of it. Thanks for video.
Casey G. did a great job with his Weirdos games. It's s shame these are not so widely known as they deserve!
I really appreciated the top-of-turn recap. I tend to watch longer videos like this over several sessions, so the recap really helped me stay on top of things ❤
Lovely report. Thanks for putting in all the work to get this one out. I'm excited to try out the game solo, when it is available!
Lots of fun, glad I backed this Kickstarter.
Love the content! Can't wait for the next Sword Weirdos!
Whenever this becomes available I am absolutely going to make warbands in the vein of the old show The Deadliest Warrior. Spartans vs Knights vs Ninjas vs Vikings vs Pirates and so on and so forth. who will be the Deadliest Sword Weirdos! i wonder if i can find hanging pig carcass minis. hmmmm.
It’s surprising how much action this game packs into a small figure count; I love the old Citadel ghouls, mine fit perfectly alongside Reaper’s ghouls
Loved the game and loved thr battle reports! I regret having missed the kickstarter on this one!
Excited to give this game a go when it's out!
Another awesome battle report and looking forward to the release of the rules!
Hi, great game and video. For my grandson I'd change moving from model front edge to the end of the stick so the models rear edge clears the stick. Just something we do so we are not placing the model on the end of the measure stick. To be honest we don't worry about exact distances. The rules have great ideas my grandson is proof a child can play.
Love it. More please!
That was great, this game looks so cool!
It is a cool game! And the rules are only $5, which is hard to beat.
Interesting game. I think at 39:00 in, it would have been a better game mechanic/more ~realistic of a battle, if the ghoul in front of Karloff could have intercepted the orc who moved into attack his boss (akin to an opportunity fire or overwatch gaming concept). Could you have used a maneuver token to do that? Understand the ghoul in question had already "broken away" from a combat with the other orc that turn.
More Sword Weirdos please!
I've been playing Space Weirdos and thinking "I wish there was a fantasy version of this". Then POW! you announce the upcoming release of Sword Weirdos.
I'm excited to get my hands on this game. I love the way all of Garske games are written and designed. Very accessible. Good fun. Just as games should be.
You've no doubt seen Stay Frosty. Any chance of covering this, or is it too RPGish?
Love your channel.
I've heard of Stay Frosty but I don't know anything about it. I will say that some games lend themselves to our format better than others.
Love it!
Hey Lee - Where did you get those Orcs? Is it an old Warhammer mini? I've got an orc that is similar, but a little more armored and on a square base. I have no idea where I got it from. I also have a highlander like mini that seems to be a similar style, so I assume it is some sort of group?
Hi Jake. I believe those are Warhammer metal savage orcs.
Great report!
Great video!
That looks better than frostgrave
Fun stuff! What line is Karloff the ArchGhoul mini from?
He is a Warhammer Fantasy Vampire Counts metal Strigoi.
Out of curiosity, where did y'all get this terrain? :O
That is mostly old Mordheim cardstock terrain mixed in with Ruined City terrain from Greenstuff World.
Thanks a heap, friends! ^-^ @@oldhammered
Game looks really promising, one question though, does the game account for mounted models? I have a goblin spider rider and an orc Wolf rider that would be really cool to use
Cavalry is one of the class options, though you can only have one such model per warband. So yeah, you can deploy your spider rider.
@@oldhammered I like it already, thanks!
Excited for this game. Where is the terrain from?
Hi Joel. The scatter terrain is from all over the place. Here's the story on the buildings: czcams.com/video/vVGpFdOkwEE/video.html
@@oldhammered awesome thank you 😊
where did you get them buildings friend
Here's the scoop: czcams.com/video/vVGpFdOkwEE/video.html
