Feature request: as with any calendar/scheduling tool, adding the ability to set an event/post to be a recurring event would be super helpful.
ditto!...yea make it a true calendar
absolutely amazing...thanks Canva
This is the most worthy part of Canva to me!!! I love it how simple you keep your Tools! Even for me as a professional it makes live a lot easier.
This means a lot to us! đ„č We'll keep improving the platform to make your design experience easier. Cheers! âš ^nm
this was a great basic intro now to find more detailed info.
Great video, easy to follow, and I'm really excited to start freeing up some time away from social media posting!! Thank you Lachlan!
Thank you Lachlan, We have a pro account and we are very happy with the content planner feature. The only thing that we regret not seeing yet is to be able to schedule all sorts of designs like carousels some videos seems like itâs not possible as for yet
We're all ears! We've already taken note of this suggestion for our roadmap. Hope it's clear! ^nm
@@canva Hello, we are still waiting for this ability. Also, being able to post recurring events! I love Canva but these changes would make our jobs so much easier!
Greate video. Thanks canva
Cool but how do you schedule posts from the same file?? I have a file with 30 posts in it I would like to schedule each post for a different day.... its telling me to go in and duplicate which I don't want to do for alll 29 other posts?
I agree - this is horribly frustrating - I have dozens and dozens of duplicates. Lachlan - Canva? Please respond to your dedicated PRO users!
The only method of scene is that you would need to make a copy of the very same file or project and schedule it....
Thanks for this great video! How do you know what is the best time for your audience?
Hi Lachlan, thanks for this helpful video. Just starting to use the Canva content planner as part of my team's Canva for Teams/Pro account and it seems very user friendly! I want to use the same project/design to schedule multiple posts with different copy for each. For example, scheduling an invite to an upcoming meeting at the beginning of the month, and then scheduling reminders leading up to the meeting day, so the graphic/design is the same but the copy changes. Is there a way to do that in advance with the same design?
Still not understanding how to post to multiple social media accounts at one time. Seems like it would just let you select multiple account from the platforms you have on your drop down list. Suggestions?
As in some of the other videos, your screen and my screen do not have the same features in the same place, so I have to go looking for them. It would be nice to update the videos when the layout changes.
I agree 100%. My layout looks much different too and I can't find the "add social media accounts" button either.
@@Nicole_Snell I eventually found it, it's there....somewhere.
I think you had to select post, or whatever what you wanted to share, then share on social, and if you haven't already connected the social account, it will let you do it then.
@@user-fz2jo5zg5w Thank you!
Been trying to up my content game lately. Canva's content planner looks like a breeze! I've been nailing content with boost app social, and coupling it with this might be the next big move. Thanks for the deep dive!
Heard so much about boost app social! Started using it for my TikTok and Instagram. Love it so far!
thanks for this Lachlan. I've been trying to contact your team about a way of editing the scheduled posts. The caption feature is only possible when connecting it to social / scheduling the post. But team members aren't able to edit the caption once scheduled. Am I missing something?
If I set as draft can my team also see the draft or edit it?
Great video, so much information.
Just a couple of questions for you.
1. How can I have the content planner in my menu without ferreting through all the menu options?
2. You indicate that I can use multiple social media accounts, but I can't seem to schedule to all of mine at once (all two). I have to copy and repost to the second account.
3. You indicate to click the three dots at 2.57 to click the three dots but I don't have them on my scheduling screen
Finally, I typed in Instagram Grid Planner to start your hack and nothing came up except content that I've made.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have the same questions as your #1-3. It would be helpful to be able to favorite the content planner so it appears on the home page, and I don't see the three dots either. Hmm.
This would be amazing if you could add alt-text to designs before posting, would 100% swap over to use this if it had those accessibility options.
Sounds like a great idea, Josh! We'd be sure to let our team know about your suggestion. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! âš ^aj
I use Canva planner already but would love to be able to post a calendar at a glance as well so that they see what is coming up in the future. Is there a way to do this I was thinking of just saving the calendar image but it would be great to have a way of entering your info in the canva and have the calendar at a glance update to your website or facebook page. Hope that makes sense
Sounds like a nice idea, Linda! We'll surely take note of it as a suggestion for our team. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! ^nm
Hi Lachlan, how do I enable my content calendar in my canvas? Im using a pro.
Hi! I recently starting using Canva to schedule. One issue I'm having is my scheduled posts to facebook don't add the link preview when I have a link in my text posts. We don't always include graphics and would like the links in our text posts to auto link preview. However, when it posts from Canva, the link preview does not pop up. Am I missing something? Thanks.
I would love to use your scheduling tool but I only have a business account on Instagram but no Facebook. In the details it says I have to link a Facebook account in order to schedule on my Instagram. Is there a way around this?
Hey there! You'll need to connect your Instagram business account to a Facebook account to use our Content Planner. You can still share your designs in real-time to your Instagram account by following the steps here: www.canva.com/help/share-on-socials-and-messaging/. Hope this helps! ^mm
Hi, is Canva Pro needed to get this done? Thanks đđŒ
Do I need to share my content calendar with my team in order for them to access it? It wonât let my team schedule posts for me.
Can you schedule reels/videos too?
Furthermore, as an administrator but not an owner of a team linked to the same IG business account - I'm not able to select the channel when creating designs to schedule. The channel appears but once selected the 'loading circle of death' spins for ages without success. Could this be a bug?
how do you create recurring posts on canva content planner? so say it posts the same image on memorial day every year
I love the content planner, makes my life easier.
Is there a way to post into our group as our Facebook page?
When I attempt to do group posts, all I can do is post as myself, but not as our page.
Maybe I am just missing something.
Wondering this also. @canva
This would be great, but... I'm so BUMMED that I can't schedule from my Instagram creator account and that you only support business accounts!!
By using Canva's scheduler when I'm in Canva all the time, I'd be saving $18 a month versus using later. Help!
We hear you! We'll be sure to jot down this feedback for our team as we continue to improve the platform. Thanks for reaching out! ^nm
@@canva thank you!
@@canva thanks so much!
what if we have weekly post that are the same?
I have canva pro. I can't find this tool on mine, it says I need to be canva teams. Is that correct? It doesn't sound like it is. I really need this tool working on my canva pro.
Hi Lachlan.
Thanks for this video. I would like to know, if its possible to add emojis in the caption box.
Great app, but I really miss a preview function as many scheduling apps do offer. The hack you propose works but is a bit of a hustle...
It would be grat to ad youtube and videos!
How do I post a Instagram carousel?
You said you can connect more than 1 account on each plattform but didn't show how. I couldn't figure it out. How do I do that?
Cant Post to Multiple Social Media Sites in One Go,
No option to Upload on CZcams
I was paying for so many different apps a while back. I closed them All and change jobs for a short while, Now I'm back to Online hustling. I have been a Canva Pro acct for about 3 years now. AND I"M Just now learning all this stuff I can do on here. horrible. P.S. I do not have the 3 dots next to add new, So must be out dated info here? IDK for sure. I'm trying to figure it out on the content page. Having a hard time.
I found it
Hey there! Mind clarifying if it's all good on your end? If you need more help, just ping us here: m.me/canva and we'll be on it. Thanks! ^mm
@@canva Yes I was able to figure it out. Thank you. It was in a different place. I guess an update. THANKS
Cool, we already have a pro account, so this will help. What about #'s and tagging @ someone on Instagram or FB.
Hey there! We've yet to have these options, but we'll gladly pass them to our team as suggestions for now. Thanks! ^nm
