For those of you that don't know where or what Hamilton is, Hamilton is a city based in the central north island of New Zealand.
This is not where I was born, but where I was brought up.
I will always call this my home town. The good old Tron!

I was nearly four minutes into the video before I found out it was Hamilton New Zealand and not Canada. I was wondering why I couldn't understand their language.

I used to live in Hamilton - I now live in Wellington. And I can confirm Hamilton is better. It is a great city. Open, green, great housing stock. Beautiful. And I'd like to add - those 3 girls are annoying as heck - they'd probably say the same about any place they went to - I'd say it's more their lifestyle choices they're making rather than Hamilton being bad.
Hamilton is a great place. Lots of good resturants and shops, literally beside my school is an organic cafe, bakeries and resturants, and ice cream shops etc. It gets alot of shit as you can see in the video but it really is a good place.

Housing and cost of living is a dealbreaker. Also the lack of opportunities.
We lived there for about 9months. It's a lovely little city / large town.
It's just big enough that you could go into town and not bump into someone you know.

Only loser's don't like Hamilton. Hamilton is the best city in New Zealand for people who want to do well and be a success in life.Growing in wealth rapidly and holds the majority of events in NZ. Centrally located, great climate , best gardens in New Zealand and the best land.

Hamilton isn't a bad place, it's the people in Hamilton that make the difference. Notice how the youth are the ones to point out the bad things? To me it's the younger generation who make up majority of Hamilton's rep. I mean, should 16/17 year olds know about the spread of aids in Hamilton, whether it's true or not? I can tell where and who the problems are in Hamilton, and it ain't the grown ups.
I grew up in Hamilton, I only remember it as a violent shit hole but I was in a bad crowd so we only seen the bad side of things. It's what I still see when I look at those streets. I'm glad I traveled the world and now live overseas. I'd never want to go back if I have the choice
Hamilton is okay. Lived in Hamilton for 24 years, almost all of my life. Never been much of a "go into town and socialise" type person, so I can't comment on that side of things. It gets a bit too hot in summer, but at least the winters are pleasant and not too cold. Lots of beautiful parks around here, and it's almost like walking in the bush, some of them. Braithwaite Park, Hammond Park, Sanford Park, Donny Park.... the list goes on. Although I'd rather live by the ocean or near some mountains, some of the parks here are the next best thing. A few boofheads around, who like alcohol, noisy cars and playing music all night, and want to fight me when I tell them I have work in the morning. But other than that Hamilton is okay.

Yeh, summer in Hamilton is pretty horrible, but the autumn here is really nice.

Never lived in Huntly but been there many times! I’m from Otahuhu originally, grew up there and also lived in Temple View for 3 years. Huntly looks like a pretty decent example of small town NZ to live in in relative quiet and peace and people living there have the convenient choice of 2 great metropolitan areas to visit with a nice Motorway for access! Similar to people living in Kenosha or Waukegan. Sort of middle between Milwaukee WISCONSIN and Chicago ILLINOIS. I love Hamilton!!! CHEERS from here in the beautiful high desert next to the Rocky Mountains here in Provo UTAH🇺🇸🇺🇸🇳🇿
I grew up in Hamilton and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years and visited over 30 countries in that time. I can say with absolute certainty that Hamilton is NOT a shithole. It has everything a person could need and so much space!
Hamilton looks pretty good to me! For those of you moaning about it, never forget how lucky you are to live in a 1st world country, there are literally billions of people who would give everything to swap places.
Nah it's shit. I grew up there and I'm so glad to be out. It's cheaper living in the city in Scotland than in this shitty suburban town in damp, uninsulated housing. But sure, it isn't Syria, I guess. Whoop-dee-doo.

1. I like going to some of the restaurents
2. Keystone is good.
3. I'd move to Tauranga or Auckland and I might come back.
4. Best things about people in Hamilton- friendly. Worse thing- the "homeless" people always begging for change.

Hamilton is an average place. Nothing new or exciting happens often in Hamilton, a really "same stuff different day" sort of feel. A few misfits here and there (wouldn't exclude myself from that group sometimes), but hey, it's in New Zealand, and as a whole, the country ain't bad at all.
I had fun living in Hamilton for two years while I studied. But I'm glad to be back in tga. Hahaha hams town is better than tga town though! 👌🏼😝
