Those little "tea cups" are for espresso, an Italian coffee drink, very strong and served in those small cups.
I was thinking the same. 😂
Made me smile when she was talking about “refilling the little tea cups”
Came here to say this!!! Demitasse is the style.
Those are actually for Turkish coffee which is similar to espresso but I seen the Arabic writing on the bottom
The red little cups are not for tea, they are use for coffee.... in some countries they drink very strong espresso coffee in those cups, only a little bit because is very concentrated and that is the reason why they are so small.
Oh! That makes sense! I’m not much of a coffee drinker. The original energy drink I guess haha
In French, they are known as “ Demi-tase” cups.
I was going to say they look to be for Turkish coffee. 😊
@@jenniferkereny7678 They were a limited edition as well. With some type of Middle Eastern writing. I might have picked those up.
Yep, was about to say that, but you beat me to it. Those were beautiful.
The small cups are called demi-tasse. For Turkish coffee, espresso etc.
I loved the mug the mug that said “I’m not old I’m vintage.” Perfect for us Baby Boomers!
I actually had it in my cart and put it back I wasn’t sure how it would go over haha
My aunt Wanda turns 78 tomorrow and she said it’s not elderly it’s “upper middle age”
In my younger years, I liked matchy matchy mugs. Now, as I've matured I have grown to love mugs with memories or uniqueness.
Too many things that take up my timej
The chicken you showed with the slots is for the matching measuring spoons....I have one! I like mismatched mugs.
I like my mugs to be special. I choose daily which to use for that day according to holiday, my outfit, current events, etc. I love for my guests to choose their own and explain their choice! So fun!
Yes! That’s so fun! 🌼🧡
I like having my guests explain why they chose the one they did also!
The rooster at the beginning of the video was made to hold the colored plastic measuring spoons, really cute!
Okay! If it wasn’t chipped I was going to get it. So colorful and pretty!
@@NestingHaven i have that chicken and it came with measuring spoons made out of the same ceramics as its body from QVC
I definitely mix n match my mugs. I like so many, can't commit to just 1!
Scratches on Corning ware are easily removed with a magic eraser.
😉 Cool tip! 😎
The little teacups are demitasse cups for expresso. You only drink a little at a time as it’s concentrated coffee.
It's *espresso* with an *s*
Wow Sarah, realy? 😜
Also used for Turkish coffee
Thanks for the correction on the cups
“Keep refilling it and refilling it...”. I died! 😂. How cute!!! You just keep on thrifting and you’ll be an expert in no time!!
I have some matching mugs, but more mismatched ones. I love choosing which mug to drink out of each day.
I have a leopard cup that I drink my morning coffee from, and in the evening when, on the computer, I use a BIG mustard gold mug. If it is a long computer stretch, I put hot flavored tea in an insulated cup. Tea gets cold FAST! I have mood cups...when I need PEACE I prefer my angel cup with the verse from Hebrews. So calming.
Love the Corning Ware pattern! 😊
Love the corning ware with pansies... my favorite flower!
I love different mugs. I pick my mug according to my mood lol! Also some keep my coffee hotter longer if I'm busy working. First time here! Thanks!
Different mugs for me! Love finding a mug I love that I do not already have!
That summer blush Corningware I would have picked up in a hot second! I collect Corningware casseroles and have never come across that pattern 😍
I love Corningware! That was my first summer blush too!
The cover on the casserole dish plan one goes on the other one that has two sections. I have both.
I liked the Funny-Leuchter full boxed set.... (I only see them one or two at a time in the wild).... Also, i am not a fan of matchy-matchy but if the mug has coffee with a dose of cream, I don't care what it looks like, I'll drink it!
I adore my collection of coffee mugs , and they are all different . Each one has it’s own story 😂, even if it was thrifted . ( which most were ) 😁
Great haul, liked the mug with the flowers!💞
I like mix and match, Nicole! There are so many nice mugs out there! ❤️🥰
I love the candle holders! I have a set decorated for Christmas that I look forward to using each year. Thanks for the video. Great finds!
I love love loved the plates with the angels you first picked up and didn’t comment and left behind. I’ve been looking for a set of those lol There was a lot of things on those shelves. It is so much the thrill of the hunt😊 Enjoyed watching🥰
I’m so glad you picked up “summer blush” casserole. I have 4 dinner plates and have been looking for more plates to go with it. I love my plain white Corelle dishes as you can dress them up and they are light to handle. I wish you had grabbed the other salad plates too. Loved to see all the pyres and corelle. Good picking day
My favorite thing is the vintage pattern. I just finished a sewing junk journal in a 70’s sewing binder book. Love it!
I am rarely sorry I didn’t buy something, but often sorry I did. I have been decluttering and minimizing for a move to a smaller home. Loving the process of getting rid of useless and/or duplicate items.
The Taurus cup you passed was super cute 🥰
You found some great things! I really liked the flower mug - I would have kept it also! I've never seen the pattern on the Corningware casserole you bought! Very pretty!
Love the Corning Ware and the bird candle holders :)
Love your picks! Great haul!
Wow, I thought my Goodwill was expensive....this one tops mine.
First time viewer. Enjoyed this very much. My favorite item was the mug that you are keeping.
I liked the little doves. So clean and pretty!
Love the little candle holders with birds on them. Also like the two speckled cups.
I really like an assortment of coffee mugs. I grab one that matches my mood each morning.
I love the Pyrex casserole dish the best! The flower mug comes in second!
Mixed mugs for me😊 another great video 💕
Love the flower pottery mug😍
So nice to see that EVERYONE has not gone MINIMALIST I love my older pieces, and they still make me so happy.
Ya I don’t think I could handle only having 100 items total and feeling like I had to get rid of something because I bought something else. It’s just fun to get what you like and bring your happiness. 🧡🌼
@@NestingHaven Not to mention, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my older pieces, like my bust of David...my copy of a crystal lamp, My angels, and old books, and different lamps, especially the ones with to the candlesticks. Some of the pictures in magazines are so cold and lonely, with huge ECHOES! Brrrrrrrrrrrr.
Love this looking at beautiful memories thanks for sharing.
I love mugs too. I collect mugs for different seasons and display them in the window above my sink. I installed two old curtain rods at different heights on the window and then I bent old forks into an “S” hook for displaying my much used cups.
Loved the demitasse cups. Enjoy. TFS & God Bless...
I’ve got a small funny designs candle holder collection too. What a great find with them in the package!
I love the mug “I’m not old, I’m vintage”. 😊
especially when you are vintage. I am in my 70's
I like the speckled pottery mugs. Thanks for sharing
I’ve done well reselling mugs. My local goodwill sells them for .99. I’ve sold several anywhere from $10.49 to $20. I guess it depends on what you want your profit margin to be. They are easy to ship, too.
Those little mini tea cups are called demitasse coffee or chocolate cups, and can actually go for a pretty penny 😍
Love mixing patterns and colors of kitchen items.
Great video, reminded me that I need to pick up some items for my own use. Salt and pepper shaker and salad plates, condiment bowls
That Summer Blush is so beautiful.
My entire kitchen is eclectic, absolutely nothing matches! The little Funny West Germany bird candle things, I found 2 just yesterday at a yard sale! I purchased 2 vintage blue jars ( one actually had the lid) & one jar had great buttons in it. Anyway, the lady threw in the birds for free! I have a pretty bird collection & they will look at home on my shelf! Love shopping with you!
That Goodwill is the neatest and most organized one I have ever seen.
oooh I like that paisy s design😍
I love everything chicken and rooster.
I like the different cups and Mugs, all of the ones you have are Beautiful, Love watching you,
love those little corelle plates. i like the corelle dishes mix and match different patterns.
Like the Harkerware cups and saucers!
Those CORELLE salad plates I have never seen before. I mix and match my corelle dishes cuz I like the vintage ones and the modern ones as well. Some nest together and some of the newer patterns have an "indention" in them. I keep the ones in two different stacks that nest together. I have always loved corelle dishes.
I like the pattern. I wore an a-line skirt in plaid during junior or senior high school.
That chicken was for measuring spoons.🥰
I would have bought the clown simplicity pattern. It is something that doesn’t go out of style and people who sew might want to buy. Nice haul! My favorite was the cup with pink flowers. TFS, Aurora
The small cups:
Demitasse
(dem E tas ) cups French coffee
"half cups"
Often used for expresso.
It's *espresso* with an *s*
I stopped going to thrift shops several years ago because there is always so many things that I like
Oh I actually totally get that! Easy to accumulate things. 🧡🌼
Nice little haul there...
Hello. My husband fixes our morning coffee and he loves matching cups, usually bone china and must hold 12 oz. Too funny. I save mugs for my afternoon/evening tea - usually to match my mood or season. Enjoy your videos.
I have the cornflower coffee pot sitting in my garage, also still using the harvest Gold pattern on the corelle dishes, I m amused that everything is vintage now, they're just my old dishes everyday dishes, lol
Hello, New subscriber here. Love your finds! I love thrift ing and vintage goods. Please take care and Stay safe. From Debbie and Dexter-Dog her amazing rescued chihuahua living in S. California. 🙋🐾💕🙏😷🏥🌴🇺🇸😁😳😘😉
Hello, love the pyrex, and the mug your keeping
I’m like some of other comments. I use to want all matching cups BUT NOW I mix & match on my cups/mugs. My favorite was the Harkerware cups but Love the cup you bought to keep. 👍 I just subscribed.
Love Quechee Gorge! Camped there,so beautiful there!
I have the blue bow goose funny candle holder! I love vintage geese stuff and my mom picked it up for me when she was out thrifting once and surprised me with it. it’s so cute!!
Oh awesome! I’m still looking for that one. It’s going to be such a great moment when I finally find it haha I love that feeling! 🧡
@@NestingHaven wishing you luck on finding it soon!
My mom and dad put a lot of perking in that Corningware coffee pot. I’d never seen that Corelle flower pattern before. I like different mugs!
I would have looked over the knitting needles. I like thread, too. It’s pretty in a clear container.
the 80s sewing pattern Issey Miyake is super collectible with the fashionistas
I like having a set of mugs that match my dishes, but I have a special mug for holiday's or season just for me. I am a big tea lover
all my coffee cups are pure white....but each one a different shape/size/design
Definitely love mixed mugs. No two are alike. Really like them big😋
My library has a winter reading program. If you read or listen to a certain number of books you get a mug. They are different shapes and colors. I have about ten and they hang on my wall.
I love the 70s and 80s best! Glad to find others that appreciate whatever from that era.
Nice! I appreciate a lot of eras but I just like the fun colors of the 60’s and 70’s best and I love 80’s toys 90’s nostalgia for me. Anything that makes me smile! 🧡🌼
I never would have passed up those Corelle plates. I can't resist. I have a mix of Corelle plates in my cabinet. I love the ease of wash with them and the light weight.
I love mix n match mugs.much more fun.did you see the cornflower corning wear coffee pot!
Corningware thrift pieces are great to give away with your hot meal that you bless someone with ie just had a baby, recovery from illness, widowhood....
These are some amazing finds! You have a great eye! 💙XOXO Celine from List Perfectly
Thanks so much!
I am definitely a traditionalist and I like my coffee mugs to match.
I love old patterns. I have most of mine from the 60s and 70s😃
Hands down the bird collection, love it❣
Yes! 😊
Definitely mix and match. It’s a lot more fun
That chicken held measuring spoons. Cute.
First-time subscriber. Enjoyed your channel
Awesome! Thank you, Alize! 🧡🌼
I love the German candle holders.
Mix and match so I can pick the one that fits my mood that day! hahaah
If you go back to that Goodwill I would love to get my hands on that dress (a black fit one and a light full one both were off the shoulders) pattern you showed briefly then placed the pattern you bought on top of it. 🙃😇😍
That’s a very nice GW. None of the ones I go to have any yarn, patterns, craft stuff, so thanks for videoing. ♥️
First time I've seen your videos and enjoyed it. Love the Corning Ware with the flowers but my favorite has to be the Quechee Bell because I'm from VT. PS the Que is pronounced like a Qw as in Qweechee.
I never could remember how to say it haha. I love Vermont so much! One of my most favorite states to visit. 🧡🌼
You found some really nice things Nicole🍀
Thanks, Petersen! 🧡🌼
I like a variety of of coffee mugs. That’s what I gravitate to when I go to Goodwill. Not the fancy ones just the real colorful and fun ones.
You picked up some fun things
I enjoyed video thanks for sharing.
We stopped at Quenched Gorge when we were on our way to Maine. Its a neat place.
I like mix & match coffee mugs!
