- Tribute to Thom Yorke's performance @ Le Reservoir (2003) for which he borrowed the Telecaster Plus from Jonny Greenwood. The song was played, most likely, on the bridge pickup (Lace Sensor dually red). Thom is using a pick but I played with fingers to be closer to the Hail to the Thief version. So it is somehow a hybrid... I have added a bit of delay to replicate the venue ambiance.

Sounds cool and beautiful Tele!
Thanks a lot!
such an underrated song (also the LA version too). I enjoy singing this in my car to the embarrassment of my kids
Yeah, great song. My kids wouldn't let me sing in the car! If windows are down they are too embarrassed (neighborhood etc. lol), if windows are up - it is too loud for them. Falsetto is especially hated lol. Thanks for checking my video!
Can't wait till you learn Scatterbrain
Then your name will be fulfilled
Thanks! Scatterbrain is on my to do list. Such a beautiful song!

Can I recommend using neck pickup? Is a bit trebly. Rock on!
Hi! This is tribute to Le Reservoir live performance. IMO it sounded to me like Thom was using the bridge PU, with a pick. I tried to do my best to explain in the description :) Studio version was most likely not played using Jonny's tele at all...
BTW, i watched your video in 2022 while preparing for the tele plus project :)
@@ScatterTune Ah that's cool! Yea I've made a few of those and now I actually got an original '94 Tele plus. Agree about him probably not using it in the studio, but I do believe he used the neck pickup. Give it a shot and see how it sounds. I could be dead wrong....
@@islandpools9525 when i started recording that cover i definitely tried the neck first, but now i can't recollect all details. Will try once again
