It's quite possible that she has Bell's palsy like I do. One half of my face doesn't move whilst the other does. So one brow is higher than the other. It's nothing to be rude about since it can't be helped. You never know what someone else is going through.

It's really obvious that one half of her face the muscles are strained, and the other half isn't. You can tell with her mouth too, there are lots of medical conditions that cause this and I don't understand how people can be so ignorant about human anatomy.

It's from Botox, she didn't microblade her brows on unevenly
Notice in her healed results how she no longer had crisp, clean hair strokes. She had blurred strokes that now looks like old makeup. This is due to the microblading "artist" criss-crossing strokes. Unfortunately, her touchup appointments will make the blurring even worse also. That's really the first thing they teach you NOT to do when training for microblading. I could also point out at least 10 other things she did wrong that made me cringe. And yes, I'm a microblading specialist.
Finally someone who knows what they're saying. I'm a microblading artist too and I'm glad you're putting valid information out there.

The thing is brow trends change in a couple of years thinner brows will probably be back in.
In a few years it will have faded though, so it might work.
It's semi-permanent. I've read that it fades completely anywhere from 18 months to 3 years. You're supposed to get a touch-up once per year. If I had the money, I would send my mom to get this done. She's missing a lot of hairs on the outer half of her brows, and she only has one eye, so I think that's why she's leery about using the brow pencil I got her, or applying any other makeup in that area.
I would definitely pick a practitioner who could produce a better result than this, though. One which is more natural. The hard delineation of the brows, in Frankie's case, are too much, for my tastes. They're also a bit too thick. I know they would be for my mom, too.

Drawing in an eyebrow is by no comparison to a portrait tattoo. Not even close. Eyebrows are a beauty modification. Not art. Also, it's criminal to charge someone with Alopecia that amount of money just so they can have eyebrows. Just like medical supplies are way over priced. All this is is taking advantage of people.
What she means it's okay to hose people who really want this even if it means the person has no eyebrows due to a condition.
Wow those are horrible !!! There are far too many strokes and how did it take less than 30 mins??? I work at a salon that does it, she has her own sterile room and it takes her two hours because she takes so much time to make sure they're perfect I can't handle this video

When you get your eyebrows micro bladed they are not supposed to bleed. The blade is only supposed to go slightly into the skin so the ink has a little crater to go inside but can easily heal over it so it locks the ink in. Putting the blade in so deep it will bleed causes the eyebrow to bruise and change the look or color of the ink. This makes your eyebrows appear blue or green because of the body healing.

Puppy Soccer actually it’s normal to bleed. If you think about it, you can’t really make a scratch into the skin without it bleeding and that’s what microblading is. Making small scratches into the skin so the ink can seep in
that's right, its not supposed to bleed. Semi-permanent tattoos are not supposed to puncture the skin so deep, that's why it is different from the old fashion tattoos. If its bleeding then that means the ink is going into the bloodstream and the ink will change colour eventually. semi-permanent make up supposed to go into the epidermis. It supposed to be absorbed fully in 1-2 years. If its going deeper than the epidermis then the ink will never fade out and will turn out to be a disgusting color.

My microblading took 3 hours, not even my touch ups take 15 minutes. They take at least 30-45 minutes.

If you go swimming in a chlorinated pool while your eyebrows are still healing, the chlorine turns the dye/pigment green
Chlorine doesn't turn anything green, it's the copper in the algaecide.

RULE # 1- NEVER crisscross the strokes.
RULE # 2- Take your time, it's not a speed race to see who finishes first.
RULE # 3- Position the blade correctly on the handle.
RULE # 4- The brow tail should never be lower then the head of the brow, or else it gives you sad looking eyes.

This whole thing irks me so much. One of the techs eyebrows is all the way on the north pole and the other dug a hole to the opposite side of the earth. I wouldn't trust her with my brows. Buzzfeed probably just chose the cheapest place. A well trained tech would have at least make her brows proportionate to her face. Also, a good teach would make sure her brows didnt turn green.
I don't think that's a fair judgement. When I relax my face, my eyebrows are even. When I start talking or have ANY sign of life to my face through excitement or any emotion, my muscle at my right eyebrow lifts naturally, so it always looks like my eyebrows are SOOOO UNEVEN. I hate it, but at the same time, I wouldn't make my eyebrows lower...because then when I'm not talking it'll be weird

mina mouse people pay talented tattoo artists quite a lot of money for their work, especially on realistic portraits. How is that different than paying a microblading technician for their work?
mina mouse i asked a tattoo artist about this and he said it was way different than tattooing a regular tattoo. it still is a ripoff but you're paying someone to tattoo your face. i think their expertise is worth a good amount.
Realistic portraits are the equivalent of having DaVinci create the Mona Lisa on your skin. It's not at all the same as something that's meant to look like there's nothing there.
Let's be honest here. This like any female product. It's like a female tax on products. They change the name to make it trendy and charge double. We make less, pay more and don't complain about it otherwise it wouldn't cost $600-1000. Talk about bending over and taking it up the you know what...

Exactly. You can get 24-40 Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz pencils with that money, which would last you a lifetime. Microblading only lasts for about a year.

Softap is better than microblading, in my opinion. It involves "tapping" pigment into the skin with small needles rather than slicing the skin. The pigments also won't turn green or blue and there are a variety of shades with different tones. It's also only about $300 and lasts 5-10 years

Bacon Bits tattooing brows on makes you look self conscious and unhappy with how you look naturally, apply makeup if you have to but no one cares about the thickness of your brow and in 2 years they won't even be a thing, tattooing eyebrows lasts 5-10 years or even longer if you get permanent. Ecliptic Designs the shape of the brow should follow the natural shape of the brow bone and compliment the face, not just follow the current trend. And the reason I got mine done was because my hair is blonde and my eyebrows were pretty much invisible. Now, they look very natural and match my hair color. How is the outcome or the result of that different than somebody's brows that are darker because they have darker hair?
Depending where you are in the world, microblading can be only $350-500. I got mine done for $350 and they look so natural!

This is what I got! I didn't know it was called microblading until today, though. I got mine done in Korea and I am so so so in love with my brows, I've just been preaching about it to just about everyone I meet haha. Go to a technician with lots of experience, and consult with them extensively on the shape/thickness/colour you want - do NOT skimp on this process! Personally I wouldn't have gone to the technician featured in the video, but if Freddie's happy that's all that matters. :)

It's obvious that her eyebrow is raised, not uneven. Look at her eyes, one looks smaller than the other because on the other her eyebrow is raised.

What if her eyebrows naturally grow like that? Marissa Hargitay has an eyebrow that's been raised higher than the other since season 1 of SVU. The point of microblading isn't to shave off your eyebrow and draw on a new one; it goes with what your eyebrows already naturally do to give it a natural-looking, fuller look. She might just have an eyebrow that grows higher.

I'm glad to see people in the comments talking about how the technique will fade and blur. I wish I had known what to look out for before having mine done-- the lines all blurred and turned reddish and I'm still waiting 2 years later for it to fade enough so you can't see it. Plus the healing process was rough and now even less of my sparse hairs grow back. I have more bald patches because of it. Microblading videos make it seem like a dream cure but actually a lot can go wrong and it's so important to find someone really good and see if their clients are still happy 6 months later.

I still don’t get why people who has no hair get waxed. Personally, my eyebrows are thick and long and I will NEVER waxed them.
A microblading appointment only taking 15 minutes should have been your first red flag...
no offense but Freddie should've gotten her eyebrows waxed/threaded or shaped somehow before the lady started microblading. Also, the whole point of microblading is making it look natural. Hers don't frame her face and they look very unnatural. The eyebrow strokes look drawn on and they're of a completely wrong color.

I personally feel like micro bladed eyebrows look too boxy at the from and they're usually too dark and bold
If done by a professional you firstly speak with them and get the shape you want and then you both find a color that you are sarisfied with, you don't have to get dark black, blond is also possible

Right? Microblading is hella interesting. I also think they looked a little odd right after she got them done because there had to be a bit of swelling and in the last shot they look a lot better.
Meci Marie It's 99% of microblading that looks boxy. Check out Baltic Brows. They make sure all the hairs are not the same length and sway and they do not "coloring" it in. In about 3 months, maybe her eyebrows will look better once it fades.

My mom and sister-in-law's brows initially looks bad but after a week it was really good! Not natural looking but it looked like they know how to use a good brow pomade.
Yeapp, I mean, it does not look bad but just very powdery as if she just filled them in instead of nice hairs. She has extremely oily skin, which I also have on my forehead. I only got one bald spot done and mine also turned into a bit faded less hair stroke thing. And hers turned a bit green and my turned a bit grey-ish.

i have mine done, and they're not supposed to bleed. that means you're cutting too deep. that's why most tattooed eyebrows go blue and green!
