    Kdenlive has been solid for me and the best FOSS editor for years

      I've been using it for over 10 years now. Years ago it was buggy from version to version, but it's been a long time since I've had any issues with it.

    Wow that is awesome! What I know about Kdenlive is a bit more than how to render a video. It took me a week to figure out how to speed up a video 600% and add music to play while the video is speed up. So yes This is a awesome tip and I have a use for it already,,, Lol

    It's such a shame that so many good features are hidden behind bad default settings in kdenlive.

    • @TommTooTone

      sounds like any game ive ever played or any app ive ver used. default is bummy and only a bum desires default.

    • @DoubleBob
      @DoubleBob Před 4 měsíci +1

      @@TommTooTone Nah. Proper games and apps have people smart enough to set the settings to good default values. We aren't in the 90s anymore. Only some open source projects keep those bad habits alive.

      @TommTooTone Před 4 měsíci

      @@DoubleBob whoa dude you think games in the 90's had settings at all? you'd be lucky to have a brightness slider back then lol. i think youre saying that some default is acceptable and i would agree but nobody can ever say that default offers alot of advantage to users. this is why nobody brings stock vehicles to the track expecting to win. default is garbage.

      @@DoubleBob got bored and re read this comment again and noticed you said "set the settings to good default values"
      obviously you dont know wtf default even means and no im not going to explain it either. wow this was a dumbass comment made by an NPC.

    Kdenlive (and pretty much any other GUI video editor) is pretty buggy for me, so I haven't been using it much. I've been using raw FFmpeg, but that motion tracking in Kdenlive does seem nice. I don't have any uses for it right now, but I'll keep it in mind in case I need it. Thanks for sharing.

      I've been using it for over 10 years now. Years ago it was buggy from version to version, but it's been a long time since I've had any issues with it. Blender had really good motion tracking. If you aren't already using Kdenlive, Blender might be something to look into.

    Nice nice 👍
    Also
    I have done a lot researching and found a cheaper solution on that WiFi hacking thing.
    I found that rasbary pi zero w also supports monitor and packet injection modes 😮😮
    I mean like fr its in the palm of my hand almost half of my hand and a mini pc 😮bruh im gonna get it
    And it's not 100 cheap but im happy with it that it can do a lot
    So I will say to you in the future that did it work or not I hope it will work 🙏 also I can boot up a FRICKING operating systems from just an SD Card ??? 😮💀
    That's a new thing for me I can have a lot of OS's in the finger tips of mine damn
    Also would you make a video about that rasbary pi or zero w?
    Cos i see that you like making arcade games or something like it in your way. I respect that your doing what you like 👍
    Then im giving you a good idea to make a video about that its fraking cool idea think about it 😊😊

      Thank you for the suggestion.
      I don't really have plans on doing videos on a Raspberry Pi. I have a few I bought years ago and, although there some cases where a raspberry makes sense, most things I see people using Raspberry Pi's for, I think there are better options.
      First off, they aren't that cheap. After the cost of the Pi, shipping, sdcard, power supply, and case, you can get a pretty good laptop for about the same price that comes with a keyboard, mouse, screen, battery, hard drive, power supply, and is a lot faster and more reliable. On the other end, I see people using raspberry pi's for controlling things in their house such as lights and other ITO devices. An ESP in these cases will be smaller and cheaper and they also are instant on and don't need to boot into an OS which takes time and adds a lot of un-needed over head.
      I also don't see the need for Raspberry Pi tutorials because a raspberry pi is just a computer. I teach people how to use Linux. Most people are running Linux on their pi's. Unless you are using the GPIO pins I don't see how it is really any different than any other computer. To teach people about using a Pi would be like teaching someone how to use Dell computer. The fact that it is a Dell computer is not relevant. A computer is a computer. Like you said, you can boot it from an SD card. You can't boot pretty much any modern computer from an SD card.
      I've actually for a while that I need to do a video on this topic. Pointing out when I think a Raspberry Pi is good option and when it's a bad option.

      @@DigitalMetal well yeah it's a good topic and you have the knowledge of everything about Linux I think so ?
      Um can you teach about how can sudo password be brooken with mouthing and unmounting something in the system and other things ? Just about mounting and unmounting that's what I have listened but did never understand what it was actually about in Linux fr idk what it is even.
      And about root password hacking I saw in Mr Robot Elliot hacking himself in the Mac os and I really want to know how he did it.
      Also he did mounting and unmounting in his terminal and it was also in his script.
      Ok. Sorry if I speak understandably just I can't explain it cos idk it :| sorry :) anyways thanks and I'm waiting for future videos :>>>

    Nice, now show us how to do this with ffmpeg 😆

    • @DigitalMetal

      about 15 years ago I did it with image magic

    • @DigitalMetal
      @DigitalMetal  Před 11 měsíci

      well, what I actually did was tracked a red led. I turned the threshold of the image way up and then look for the first true red pixel in the image as an offset a little bit and overlaid Tux on the original image based on those coordinates and I did that for a whole sequence of frames and then used ffmpeg to recompile them into a video.
