- I wanted to make a smple #HowTo. The tracking effects in #Kdenlive have very much matured. We'll go over the steps to make motion tracking easy. They might not be as elaborate as in #Blender but they're still very impressive and a bit easier to use.

I love that you can do so much with Kdenlive nowadays. I just wish it would be easier to use.
A plugin combining all those steps into one single “Select Rectangle to track, select what to do with this tracking data (blur, follow, etc), optionally crop video accordingly” would really make this more accessible than using multiple different filters and manually copying keyframe data around.

im not given an option to import the key frames and im not sure why
For my kdenlive version there is no offset position option for mapping the keyframes, should i switch versions?
That would be the moment to get yourself a beer or a coffee.
I guess you set the frames according to your framerate.

Is it possible to put two blurs on one video?
hello beginner here. can i only record the video thats within the motion tracked frame and remove everything outside of it?
halfway through the frames the video zooms off into the top-left corner and i end up with a black screen, any ideas what im doing wrong?
My computer is too small... if I want to track faster motion do I just go to a higher frame rate in adding the effect... from every 5 to every 2 say... it lost my face when I stood up on camera !
