I really found it fascinating that, aside from the Hisui promotion, the first 2 and hopefully last 2 parts of this special are trying to tell an interesting story basically picking up from what happened at Spear Pillar over a decade ago. I feel like this is some nostalgia done right. This special feels like a special first which is really all I want from promotional material. Maybe it's my bias for seeing the gang of my childhood (and Goh) together talking but I'm really loving what's been going on with these specials and hope we get to see more stuff like it.
Sidenote: I'm calling Brock's jet the Brocket ship.
I just really hope Dawn isn't just coming around because Pokemon's been all about Sinnoh the past few months. Do I want her to be around all the time. No, but just having her make multiple appearances is nice and since Cynthia has to return after the Sinnoh love period due to her role in the Masters 8, I see know problem with Dawn just become a reoccuring character and doing stuff like motivating Chloe. Plus, I *really* want to see a contest and since there seems to be complications with May's return, Dawn's the closest I'm getting.
I mean that honestly really seems like the only reason imo

@@Lumberjack_king Yeah she returned to pokemon after 9 years ,almost a decade. Personally i love ash, dawn and brock together but i don't think creators really wanted to bring her back other than promoting games. It's sad to see that they these three will not be seen again together for god knows how long. But i am happy that they returned atleast.........
I love both Dawn and Cynthia. They're some of my favourite Pokemon characters. lol

Love the fact they brought back Croagunk’s rivalry with Saturn’s Toxicroak
Dawn may be somewhat angry, spiteful, antagonistic, unkind, and jealous at times but she always my favorite female companion of Ash.
Dawn is kind towards her pokemon and supportive towards ash

It's still very disappointed that we never got to see both of Dawn's Buneary and Quilava, Brock's Marshstomp and Geodude evolved off screen.
What else is very disappointed is that Ash, Goh and Dawn never got to keep Rowlet, Cyndraquil, Oshawott after they caught them in the first episodes because I though of the time that if they have as they evolved into Quilava, Dewott and Dartrix then they could accidently travel back in time the Hisui Region so they could evolved into Typhlosion's, Samurott's and Decidueye's Hisuain form.
I know Ash already got his own Rowlet but it already have shallow the everstone which it won't evolved, so I don't see why Ash can't catch a second Rowlet because if he had then he could train it and evolved into Dartrix and if Ash accidently travel back in time ti Huisan Region then there's a chance that Dartrix will evolved into Husian Decidueye.
I also know that he already got both Quilava and Oshawott but if he could bring one of them back to his team then there's a chance that of them will evolved into Hisuain Typhlosion or Hisuain Samurott.
What I'm curious to know even though it might not happen but in the future Pokemon Journey episodes that Ash and Goh would accidentally travel back in time to the Hisuian Region and meet some Hisuian Pokemon like Zoroark, Braviary, Kleavor, Sneasler, Lilligant, Arcanine and Wyrdeer in anime.
It would also be a great opportunity if Ash could to bring back his Rowlet (get rid of the Everstone),Oshawott and Quilava or perhap two of them so that they could evolved into Decidueye, Typhlosian and Samurott in Hisuian form but maybe in five or eight episodes in the time travel special.
i totally get you with the lack of Hisui, i too wanted them to go to Hisui

Maybe the Pokemon company would endorse or maybe just be a sponsor but not actually make a whole new anime for it.
BUT I'd love to see some body or some person/team make a fan made anime for the game.

This Legends Arceus special was so so so so good!! But… and this is a big but
It barely had anything to do with Hisui and the game it’s promoting.. like we only see 4 of the new Pokémon, and it’s only for like 2 seconds and they’re on a PORTRAIT.
This arc stands great on its own! But when you look at it as a “Legends Arceus anime”… it just isn’t

unrelated, but this is another instance of me saying that May kinda sorta deserves at least a singular episode about her, before Journeys ends.
Like, even if you think she's the worst coordinator out of the three, throughout the series, I feel like she kind of deserves something after Dawn being brought back three times (I do understand why they keep bringing her back, because Gen 4 remakes and all that), but I do hope that one's all the hype for Legends: Arceus has faded in the anime, perhaps the best female companion can make her reappearance.

a. There was no explanations as to how the fudge team Galactic got out of jail and the gang didn't exactly react as shocked or recall much
