Wow, they're doing dome clean work, see how bright the blocks are and the land is huge. I've similar videos on my channel
Yes we have a very good mason he is neat and very clean site and workmanship. The whole land is not ours they are plots.
Hi Prince and Nikki, thanks for this video, I'm starting mine in a couple of weeks time, so your video is very helpful.
Your welcome, wishing you all the best with your project!

1st time hearing of sand blending
Sand blinding is very essential. It prevents the stones in the laterite from penetrating through the damp proof membrane (DPC). If it’s not done well and compacted the DPM is likely to fail leading to raising damp. Our next episode would be on laying the DPM and casting the floor slab.
The house is huge for the size of your family.
Do you think ? I though 4 bedrooms is small compared to many 5/7 bedrooms 😂
Wow very beautiful but is very big, am planning to build 3 bedroom house in Gambia 🇬🇲 soon please pray for me.
Thankyou for your comment, you will surely start this year
Did they have to add any water during the 1st compacting?
Yes, water was over night although not necessary because the laterite grade was good.
Did the rocks gointo the foundation as well?
No the grey rocks are for the floor slab which will be the next video. A lot of the materials there were our preparation for casting the slab whilst we were in Ghana.
