  • Short little harmonica lesson! Or maybe more a demonstration. Anyway - 12th position on the diatonic is awesome for getting a jazzier sound when playing blues. 2 draw whole step bend is your root note.
I recorded this video as a livestream on Facebook - would it be a cool idea to do livestreams on CZcams? Then you tune in and ask questions if they like.
    Best,
    Filip
Do you want to study harmonica with me?

So smooth, sounded like a clarinet at times.

Man this is great. I was practicing C on a G Marine Band, old one from NY, with 3 semitone draw as 4 note & 2 double draw as 1 note (can't quite get there 😂). Then the 6 note is 1 & 4 draw, 2 is 2 draw/6 blow, and 5 is 1 blow etc. I searched YT & found you right away (already subscribe). I'm playing along lower tonic notes while you go up & it sounds cool.

Beautiful Filip😌 I love this kind of your smooth jazzy blues💙 For me these short demonstrations with a little bit of explanation are the ideal stuff to weave into my playing😊 You are one of my favourite players!

12th position? Holy Moley! So a G for C, eh? I’d wanna call it Reverse Cross, like a boxing move. I will give it a go. I can hear the possibilities.
    But…
You’ve been playing that position for at least more than ten minutes, I can tell. Really sweet phrasing, and your command of the instrument is a beautiful thing. Thank you.
Maybe I’ll have that much facility someday.

Thanks for watching! Yes, if you play in C, use a G. Play in D, use an A. This position has a great timbre!

Dude, you are very good in your instructions and you have a sweet sound. I watch a lot of your chromatic videos but this is the first on diatonic

Thanks! This is a Suzuki Manji I customized myself. I got this particular G harmonica in 2011, still works great.
