I worked in Solar industry. The solar give promised unit generation for one year only. From the second year it give 80℅ and it gets reduced in due year. It's waste of money.

Eb should take all necessary steps to install by eb. All costs should be taken care for entire installation thereby consumers can save a lot and not pay to private parties. Government should take entire steps for implementing this benefit to common people. Cost wise it will be affordable.

everything is ok. But EB people will not cooperate with us. They will create all problems. The net metering system and the reading part is too pathetic, usually they will take a wrong reading and the customer has to suffer. Even the company people who installed it will not support us, they will only come when they need a reference. Its all money and time waste until the system is fool proof. here nobody will support us.

If solar power generation developed well, there will be no need for other types like automatic, thermal etc for which the generation cost is high. also problems in getting the raw materials and disposal of waste. It is possible with On Grid Hybrid Solar Inverter. But it is very costly compared to normal On Grid Solar Inverter. In my home, 8.5KVa Solar Inverter cost Rs70 thousand. But 8.5KVa Hybrid Solar Inverter cost is around Rs2.80 lakhs

Government and EB needs to give tax incentives to those who pay taxes for installing solar (not for non tax payers). Also net meter to be provided immediately without any hassles/ any demand from customers. They should come with clear mindset that solar power is advantage to the consumer. Another thing whatever excess units exports to the grid, at least they should pay back at the year end (very minimum amount)to the consumer instead of making zero units. If these done plenty of domestic customers automatically will come forward to install the solar power. 🙏

Sir for Off Grif for a normal household, 4 tube of 20w, 4 fan of 60w, 1 inverter fridge, to run all these you need a min 2Kw panels and 3 c10 solar battery, 2 kw inverter.. you need to wire them to tube n light. Once battery is charged taking 70% utilization younwill get approx 5 hours ... investment approx around 1.7 to 1.8 lakhs, and to answer if the battery drains you can use the mains
In off grid you are not connected to the EB power at all. During day time you use solar power and night time you use battery power which was charged using solar power .

You should remove solar panels during storm conditions to prevent damage. No promises on safety during storm conditions. Solar panel is Beneficial just like home. But the mounted structure determines whether it can withstand heavy storm or not.

For 2 kw solar you may get upto 220 units now in a month...I would suggest considering your consumption in future may increase. Go for 4 or 5 kw
