We stayed in Lancing for a week in 1968 and I have fond memories of this place. I wasn't sure where it was I visited by I'm pretty sure this is the park we visited a few times while we were there. We had family friends that lived on an estate of pre-fabs in Lancing.
Thanks so much for this! My sister and I lived in Lancing from the mid 60s to mid 70s and remember Brooklands well. I now live in Colorado in the USA and seeing this brought back so many memories :) Is Brooklands still there.. or long gone now?

Maria Uribe it's still there and doing well. It's not quite as good it used to be.

Place went abandoned and eventually got demolished.

yes still there but the train and track have gone the whole place is a disgrace ,as is with the country total lack of pride
