With all of the tragedies in the news about fatal stampedes and other violent chaos that kover the last year or so, It could have been extremely dangerous for that massive number of people to fall to the ground.

Sorry, I'm a stickler for perfection why dies everyone do the time warp like this? Wrong it ought to be performed as it is in the movie...period which is where it's popularity came from where did the dumb jazzercize steps come from? The crowd cheered at the end I blew raspberries.
The stage show came two years before the actual film so they are doing it based off the show which came first.

We stayed in Lancing for a week in 1968 and I have fond memories of this place. I wasn't sure where it was I visited by I'm pretty sure this is the park we visited a few times while we were there. We had family friends that lived on an estate of pre-fabs in Lancing.
I hope they will do it again one day cause I would love to take part in this

Ah, this brings back memories! I'd already been to the Rocky Horror show a few times over the years, and love it (if you don't know it, it's basically an x-rated pantomime, complete with heckling!), so there's no way I was going to miss this. I caught the train wearing trousers over my fishnets, then stripped off and added my feather boa once I arrived. It was an awesome atmosphere. We were split into groups of a few hundred to learn and rehearse the Time Warp, with the choreographer and cast of the touring production of Rocky Horror teaching us so we'd all be doing the same version, then we all did it together for the World Record. Richard O'Brien was there, welcoming us and leading the event - fantastic! Lots of bemused people, dog-walkers etc, passing through during rehearsals didn't know where to look with all these strange folk in stockings and corsets, that was funny 😀

Thanks so much for this! My sister and I lived in Lancing from the mid 60s to mid 70s and remember Brooklands well. I now live in Colorado in the USA and seeing this brought back so many memories :) Is Brooklands still there.. or long gone now?
