Regtig lekker, baie dankie!
it is really surpising to see how many words in swedish and afrikaans are simular. I started learning swedish, just because its fun, and iv started learning afrikaans now cuz i wanna be able to speak to my family in afrikaans.
Afrikaans seems kind of hibrid between English and German. Wow amazing fact!
Dankie! 🙂👍

Baie dankie vir hierdie video. Ek had baie probleme met “goed” en “goeie” (ek kon nie die verskil sien nie) en nou is dit ‘n bietjie meer duidelik vir my
En jy het iets goed met my uitspraak gedoen 😂
En ja, want ek Russies is, die woord “goeie” was ‘n rede waarvoor ek om Afrikaans te leer begin het 😂 (dit klink soos iets baie-baie sleg)
Dit is so interessant dat jy Afrikaans leer, baie dankie! Jou taalvaardigheid is regtig goed. Ek hoop jy geniet die res van my video's ook!
When describing a noun, I know this might sound like a stupid question, but would you just add e to the end of every adjective when describing something?
Yes, very simple 👍
In Dutch "lekker" means the same, but you can't use it a broad as in Afrikaans, well you could, but people will find it very odd. Wonderlijk is used for magical, so pretty similar but slightly different meaning. Interesting how all the "t's" have disappeared at the end of the word, people here do that in Utrecht en Rotterdam dialect. "Dit is" is apparently shortened to "dis", notice the "t" is gone. The only word I don't recognise is "baie"? But I think I could pick this up pretty quickly.
I heard that "baie" word came from the south east Asia / malayian language and it means "very".
If a guy calls you bokkie is that a good thing?
Its a term of endearment but personally I find it cheesy
Afrikaans with Lindie LOL! Is it? So I guess that's the equivalent in America to saying idk "sweetie pie, sweetheart, baby doll?" I think those are cheesy too! Haha. Cheesy can be cute sometimes, depending on who is saying it. What's something you can say to a guy in return? Anything endearing or a compliment in Afrikaans? Thanks for your reply! Love your vids.
