In this video I am out in the field with a family farm south of Minot North Dakota. They are seeding their 2021 Canola Crop with two of their Versatile Tractors and John Deere hoe drill and tow behind commodity tanks. First up is their Versatile 550 tractor with triples pulling a 50 foot seeder and second up is their Versatile 2425 tractor pulling a 40 foot wide seeder. In this video I have several shots from the air and ground level and talk about what they are doing and some information on the equipment.

Thank you for the hard you put in for the American farmers.
My great grandfather used to farm just south of Minot, before he moved back to Norway. Probably not far from where this is filmed. Going there one day to have a look at his land.
Great video once again Mike. If there is anyone that does more for spreading the word about the many variations of agriculture and it's methods, I guess his name would be John Deere! Otherwise, you are top of the list. Thanks again.

i know you do alot of videos of farming but do you ever sit down with the farmers and talk to them after you video the tractors and have you consider talking to them on video after the show of there equipment
Well that might be alright to do sometime but usually when I'm out here filming the equipment they are busy and wouldn't want to take the time to do so unless we did an in cab video. Might be something to think about though.
They sure cover some acres in a hurry!

Perfect mix of sound, ground view and drone views.
In this video do the planters have auto row shut off? They seem to be going over a lot planted areas when turning around.
YEs they have section control. Hard not to overlap when your fields aren't perfectly squared off.

I am a photographer who has recently moved to the Minot area, and I have been trying to figure out how to get in touch with a canola farmer to ask for permission to take some photos of their crops. Would you be able to put me in touch with someone? If not thats understandable, just figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!

They have a big sign above the main gate at Minot AFB that says "Only the BEST Come North" That is the Biggest attempt at Brain Washing I ever saw! Lol
