I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City but currently living in Cebu City, Philippines. I’ve lived in different countries like Singapore, Japan and United States due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
At a time, I was a band vocalist performing every Friday and Saturday night at a local bar chain but recently decided to quit from my band to focus on my CZcams Channel and my full-time job as an engineer.
I was a member of the Filipino Voice Symphony where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our choral group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
I was the Glee Club President and was a trainer for various singing competitions when I was in the university - all these were humbling experiences for me.
I enjoy watching videos especially singing performances and react to them.
I keep my reactions real and natural.

Nice reaction bro. Yes. He just made this DCT song his own version. There's no way we can compare these two singer as its totally different genre. It was taylor made for DCT voice and style of singing. For him to perform this song for a competition was quite challenging. He need to rearrange the song to suit the competition purposes as this song was meant to be melancholic and easy listening type of song. To me he took the risk and successfully delivered it in his own interpretation. 👍😅

Naqiu said he was not satisfied with his performance. He change the music arrangement 3 times. Probably time constraint, he could perform better if he got more time

Percayalah = Siti Nurhaliza. we would always associate the song with her. even Naqiu himself said in a interview after the concert that this song is hard for him because it is already a legendary song, sang by the legend herself. so for me the fact that he sang it in his own style and doesn’t make it sounds like the original is already good enough. in fact, he got the top spot again with this performance. so all is well~
