I CANNOT BELIEVE how amazing the AI is in this. Most games I've seen with AI-generated responses either ignore you or misunderstand you, but this one not only nails what you're saying, it actually responds both accurately and in-character. That is insane. I wish my Siri understood me as well as this game understands you, even doing voices. What a neat game.

Sorry but powering dynamic dialogue is the first thing a lot of us go to game dev wise. Its still a nice execution, just not novel usage.
@@elgher you can tell AI to roleplay as someone, you can give it a text with the entire life story of someone, his character and attributes. the AI will act as if it were that character and every other npc is another so called "AI agent" (but still the same AI model) with another story. this way you could create life like npc's without any prewritten responses, either this or you let the AI create characters that could fit into your game allowing to have almost infinite different characters in your world but that brings inconsistencies with it for todays AI's.
This is SUCH a cute premise and it's perfect for a voice chat. Love watching this one, one of the better AI driven games so far for sure

Can I just say how impressed I am with the voice recognition? It literally picked up partial words such as bl- (as in blood) when talking to the old dear. Never mind how fine tuned the AI responses seem to be. It's very easy for AI's to go wild. Just look at other games (looking at you Vaudeville) that use the tech. Very impressive already. I need this game all of a sudden.

ONE thing that would tie this together would be nicely detailed interiors, it would just make everything better if you take out a kind old lady, then sneak around her house as you take out the rest of her family, even calling out to them from dark rooms by faking a voice and wearing their clothes, ooh it seems fun
Father Price seems like a hard nut to crack and I was astounded that the game knew exactly what Salamandro said to him in that really thick accent @ 13:00 because I was struggling! This has to be the best implementation of AI I've seen, play more!!

the level of voice recognition is the best i've ever seen, even partial words... i can see AI quickly learning and implementing tone and inflection as well
You can even speak in another language and it translates it to english
I like how each of Morph’s voices have their own character but still retain his personality and I’m surprised the AI managed thru the thick accents. Looking forward to more games like this 💗
Holy crap, these AI are impressive! The conversations felt so natural even though the topics varied wildly and the characters are incredibly coherent and have great memory of previous exchanges!!

Not gonna lie I thought the vampire character you play as has the power to convince someone they are who they look like if it makes sense. Like how the ai people think the vampire was a university student because of the outfit

Even without AI, artists are already "stealing" art. Using other people's art without permission - or "referencing" - has been happening since ancient times. But most people who use AI to make art are using it as a tool for inspiration or like using a kettle to boil water (as opposed to boiling over fire, or with the sun). And AI art is not perfect anyway as the above person explained.

Thank you! We really wanted to create an experience that elevated AI in games, and didn't make it feel like a boring chatbot. We're hoping for the same thing.
I love that we are starting to incorporate actual AI into games now. someday we'll have NPCs that are indistinguishable from real people.

@@taylorl.9875 we just launched the game last week, and unfortunately there's no way to manually include our title in CZcams's game database like other platforms do. It seems they use some algorithm to assign the game...but of course for new ones like us you have situations like this happen :/

My (adult) son told me about this and I could not resist grabbing it. Very well done. Being an ol' programmer with AI background (used to call it computational linguistics) I was very kern to see how this was implemented.

Finally an Ai game that is actually super interesting and fun to watch, whit sort of challenge for player. Unlike some other Ai games, where player interaction whit character or characters is as interesting as dry small talk between two people who doesn’t want to chat but are forced too.

This game is amazing! But, I feel awful for taking advantage of other people's kindness & generosity. I do like playing as evil/ bad characters - however, this cute game manages to make me actually feel like a horrible human being. Killing a sweet granny who wanted to help, just rubs me the wrong way. Tech-wise, it is very innovative & impressive!
I agree, the technology is amazing! But the idea of lying to someone to get into their houses to immediately killing them doesn't sit well with me... it's their screams of terror as we chased them around to suck their blood is what got me. 😔

@@IcyLucario "especially small creators" is the kicker. big companies haven't been super cute about AI usage as of recent. actors and voice actors in particular are suddenly having to fight over the rights to their own likenesses *again* because profit pigs see AI as an opportunity to just use those likenesses without paying the people involved. AI art generators are also notorious for using data taken from existing art without those creator's consent, dismissing and devaluing the years of skill that goes into those pieces in the first place -- and often being used just so they don't have to pay those smaller artists commissions. small creators have more use for AI than big companies do, but they're also being hurt the most when those big companies try to take advantage. and there aren't a lot of regulations around AI as of now -- which is good news for some people, bad news for a lot.
this kind of game is the cute stuff i was imagining when i first thought about the usage of AI in art in general... but it's not like this across the board. seeing "AI" in the title of a video and having the content actually be *fun* is... a relief.
@@prettyrat. 1: The actors thing is a big corporation issue, not an AI issue. I'm not concerned about AI, but I am concerned about corporations using AI as a scapegoat to blame for their own shitty actions. 2: I am an artist. AI doesn't do anything different than what we do everyday. It learns shockingly similar to that of a human. AI isn't going to take artist jobs, artists using AI are going to out-perform those who don't (in competitive environments*). AI is an incredible tool for artists and allows/will allow, you to do projects of much bigger scope than you ever could before. Moreover, every single time a new thing enters the art-space it's treated like the devil. In 10 years from now, absolutely nobody will care if something is made with AI or not. I get that people are fearful and emotionally charged, but this is just how the art world works, as well as innovation in general.
Also, big corporations want AI regulation more than anyone. Disney would love to prevent the public from legally using open-source AI. All the issues with AI aren't really AI problems but just the existing problems with shitty corporations. Disney is already trying the "oh we care, that's why we want 'ethical' models" but it's entirely just an act to restrict data sets so it's easier for THEM to use and not the public. My fear is that those emotionally charged will fall for it and shoot themselves in the foot.
What a fun concept! The developers should feel extremely proud of this project - especially on the programming/technical side.

This game is actually so much fun. I love vampires and was just talking about the whole "May I come in" thing with a friend recently so to see this the day after must mean something! I bought it pretty much after seeing the second house and it really is a funny and challenging experience.
Very much having a great time with it and can not wait to see what becomes of it in the future.

Huh. The AI responses in this game are…phenomenal. Almost uncannily so. Was it an in-house build (doubt it, but worth an ask)?
Record voice, send to GPT system. All not finished letters can easy fixed
Give each npc a different personality prompts.
each part of the uniform has a description so gpt can know what the user is wearing.
When the user chat with the npc, gpt will make a call to a function to feedback the user’s chat (thumb up or thumb down icons)
For speech to text then maybe they are using the latest whisper model???
Training is required for each character and process positive/negative responses
I think I mostly understand how they did it, but it’s still incredibly impressive how well and reliably it works with vanishingly few major bugs. Of course this guy’s playing it in good faith without trying to break it, but still.

@@ProximaNick as a suggestion, if you'd accept any, I wonder if instead of *poof*, disappearing, the NPCs could be "dizzy" and lose memory of being attacked by a vampire. I think it adds more humor to the game, as otherwise it looks like they just die with a happy background music 😂

Played this game, and came to the conclusion that nothing and no one rejects a scientist with a labcoat and a jetpack so long as you twist it the right way.
I love how these type of game started to pop up using ai, this and that detective game is a very good example of ai for random generation

This is amazing. I play a lot of SkyrimVR with AI mod for NPC, but in Skyrim they only talk, not act, at least until someone makes a mod for that. Here turning conversations into actual gameplay tools is done very well!
