I may be wrong but it appears that much of the NASA footage has been loaded in reverse with the imaging for the left eye on the right side of the screen and for the right eye on the left side of the screen. This is an unsettling effect which causes foreground objects to appear further away causing their shapes to looks like windows rather than solid objects, background areas to appear to come to the foreground, and rounded objects to appear concave. I would expect more from an organization with such a reputation for precision and quality control.

What a major mistake. Can't you people - who are asking money for the 1080p version - correct this? It requires left lens blue, right lens red - and most players (VLC, etc.) only have settings for the standard: left red, right blue. Wearing my red-blue glasses upside down is uncomfortable and a lot of brighter light leaks in.

Der größte Teil der Kinofilme wird jedoch umgewandelt. Daher ist auch von 3D ohne Brille nicht mehr Effekt zu erwarten. Ich habe einen 3D-Film im IMAX-Kino gesehen - Real-3D war super, ein Film mit Umwandlung wirkte auch auf der großen Leinwand nicht. Das Gefühl der Immersion stellte sich nicht ein.

This video, and similar side-by-side 3D videos, can only be viewed in 3D if you have a 3D TV or monitor with SBS (side-by-side) option set and wearing the 3D glasses that came with it. It will not work with Anaglyph (red/blue) glasses. There is an Anaglyph 3D option in VLC Media Player you can use but the video quality with it is poor at best.

Fortunally, the side-by-side format can be seen in 3D even with bare eyes only. Technique to see 3D: look -at- through the middle of the screen and try to see three images. The middle one is 3D... but needs a little training to adopt your eyes and hold the focus. But I wish there was a way in yt to stretch the the video horizontally only .

You should have a function to swap sides. I have this from a button on my Shutter Glasses, also fom the projector 3D menu.
