When I pulled my motor I stuck it on a stand and took the head off, I was thinking ok this is easy I can pull it down about a couple of days thinking I bundled it'll in the back of a truck and took it all to a motor builder with all the parts and let them deal with it. I'm not sure if the S2s were ever dialed in properly but it goes hard and has heaps of torque.. I'm not even sure what dialing in cams is or ifi can check if they are dialed in properly.
I have 2 rockers that looked chewed up like yours. What causes that sort of damage? I will be cleaning lifters and installing new springs, retainers, seats and seals but i am not changing the valves.
