In this video I go over my VERY SIMPLE moisture regimen for spring on my #SemiFreeformLocs. I usually just combine distilled water with a few of my favorite essential oils and mist that through my hair a few times a week. To give my locs time to absorb the water I'll cover them with my favorite headwraps. In the summer, my moisture routine changes to include more products but for spring while there's a good amount of moisture already in the air this is more than enough. #LocJourney

Who could have anxiety or stress when Hallease’s videos are so calming and relaxing? I think this video just greased my scalp lol
🙃🙃
LMAO! Right?
This is so cinematically beautiful. I felt like I was watching the intro to a hair movie lol girl you're magical.
Your hair looks amazing. I use a blend of distilled water with a dash of aloe vera juice, some lemongrass oil and tea tree. I spray my scalp and strands then oil my scalp with my miracle oil blend which has helped keep dandruff, itching and skin irritation away. My scalp used to be so bad, full of dandruff, super sensitive and itchy and now it's calm and quiet and my hair is growing like crazy.
Dang, you’ve got your whole life together
You have a very beautiful voice . Very calm and soothing 💚
Wow this video is an experience! Very refreshing, and I'm also looking for a clean and simple regiment for moisturising and I'll definitely try these. Amazing angles, simply beautiful.
Also your locs are gorgeous!
This video was so therapeutic! I enjoyed your music choice, the close up of your locs and the calmness of your voice. I could almost feel the softness just looking at your locs, especially with that slow motion spray sequence. Thank you for sharing this video with us!
In just two minutes...you’ve done it again...2. Minutes. ....😍
I’m obsessed with lemon and sage lately. No idea if they go together, but I love spraying it on my bed while I’m making it. Makes falling asleep much more pleasant.

I used to use rosewater concentrate, but I fell off of it ages ago because... laziness. Lol. Last night I noticed my hair was drier than usual, so I began to consider trying it again. This video came right on time! 💖
🙋🏿🙅🏿♀️
I like tea tree (for my scalp) & lavender (keeps me calm) , but I've slowly been venturing out into other EOs. Sidenote: I've been off of YT for YEARS but its so great to see a familiar face! Congrats on the new set of locs and all the best on the renewed journey. Thank you so much for sharing.
Your hair is so beautiful. You are so beautiful. I can't handle it. ❤️❤️❤️
Lemon, lavender, tee tree, peppermint and after sprits rose water
Lavender bc your girl stays pressed and needs to chill! Bergamot which smells citrus-y to me but I heard it smells woodsy to other people. Also, keep these videos coming! 👏🏿
Such a fannnnnnnnnnnnn
A moisture spray. I like it. I don't have locs but I bought a refresher spray and I swear it dries out my hair. I stopped using it.
I love peppermint, rosemary, lavender, recently brought grapefruit and orange. I didn't think I liked sweet scents, but there's something about orange and vanilla that my heart loves.
I recently got into lemongrass too. Lemongrass and peppermint is everything.
In Trinidad they call it fever grass and it grows wild in random patches so if I tell people I'm wearing lemongrass "perfume" they would think I'm crazy lol.
There's also a restaurant that makes coconut-lemongrass ice-cream, it is not sweet at all. It's tart and creamy and I love it. I got the waitress into using lemongrass oil lol.
Goodness! Your locs have grown so quickly! Beautiful!
you are my goals.
The editing for this was simple and calmed me...it's almost like Asmr without trying lol. Recently, I've been using essential oils to combat stress headaches at work, usually a few dabs of pepermint instead of reaching for advil.
Can we have a head wrap tutorial please! I have such a hard time wrapping my short locs because my hair is so thick....

This video was so timely, I was experiencing some dry hair blues, and thanks to you ... errthing's gonna be alright. I have been using my essential oil mix spray since this video launched -- the improvement of my locs is tremendous. 😍
Glad to hear it
You. Are. Captivating.
You're so beautiful 😍😍😍! Thank you for sharing!
amazing video, 100/10 with love ^.^
Your voice is so relaxing 😌 I use the same as you in a small spray bottle but I mix half water 💦 + half Rosewater 🌹then add my drops of oils my favourite essential oils are Rosemary, T -tree 🌲 vitamin e oil and Peppermint. I want to be more adventurous and try other different fragrances like the ones you used citrus 🍊 blends etc...
Yes, aesthetics!
Great video! My favourite essential oils are lavender and peppermint. Right now, I’ll add a drop or 2 to my sweet almond oil before I oil my scalp.
I love me some tea tree oil, jojoba, and lavender. But I want to get into some citrus blends too. Loved this vid!
I love lemongrass in my hair. Also love a lavender ylang ylang blend. I tried geranium and while I love 1 drop diffused (and cut w other citrus oils). I get tired of smelling it in my hair all day.
Beautifully shot, as always!
So far, my favorite is lavender oil but I really haven't tried too many other types. I just add it straight to my olive oil and use it in my hair and on my face and body. I don't love the smell by itself but mixed with olive oil, it smells REALLY good.
Your hair looks so healthy! My hair is currently in twists and I use lemon, water, and glycerin.
Ugh you're....magickal! 💕💕
This video was amazing. I too enjoy essential oils.
I love citrus fragrances along with aloe and hint of tea tree.
Rosewater works wonders for my locs they are getting longer too. Also nice Locs!
Lemongrass, clary sage, peppermint, rosemary and tea tree. ⭐️
I use a combination of essential oils as well, like Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Tea tree. I need to get the Rose Ansolute. Nice video!
Mine is simple as well..I spray rose water on my scalp and then use jojoba oil to seal the moisture. 👌🏾
Sweet. Literally. And I use an aloe base to moisturize my wanna be dry hair.
Ahhh so pretty!
Enjoyed the video..TFS
I like to you rose hip oil on my face and neck for rejuvenation and to aid in fading any dark spots I may have 🙆🏾♀️
I love your voice
I love using orange and lemon!
You're awesome
Beautiful

Hey Hallease! Where did you get this headwrap? And many of your other lovely wraps? Thanks:)
All my wraps are from The Wrap Life
I love lavender and lemon grass.
This is a must try! So the EO does not require a carrier oil? I'd like to use that rosewater but I was going to seal with castor oil and as you know castor oil has a distinct smell.
Nah it’s just the water that’s enough for me
You are so beautiful!
Where can you buy rose water? She is beautiful

Hi! I’m newly loc’d (7months in) and have been struggling a bit with moisturizing my locs. At first I was treating them like loose hair and putting butter and leave-in conditioner. But I quickly learned (especially after my first acv rinse) that those products give me major build up. Anyway, I was just wondering, doesn’t oil just sit on the hair instead of penetrating and moisturizing it? I thought of it more as a sealant than an actual moisturizer. Is it different with loc’d hair versus loose hair?
Yes, if I’m using a lot or oil to seal I use a light oil that can actually absorb into my scalp and hair and not sit on top of it. Apricot oil, and grape seed oil are both really light oils. The essential oils are so minimal 10-15 drops that you don’t have to worry about build up with them
Do you use these oils separate -ly or always together in the mixture?
Sometimes separately, just depends on how I feel
I didn’t know Now Oils had a Rose Water Concentrate #Bet
