In this how-to episode I guide you through the steps I take to calculate the helicopter's weight and balance for the Cabri G2, though this method is similar for most general aviation aircraft. I hope you enjoy!

@@TheMicroPilot Actually RC Helicopters are not that easy to learn to fly...It would be nice for you to have a try at flying one....Bet you would like it... I also fly fixed wing RC, anyway I really am glad I found your site..

Hello Matey, I don't know if your final goal is to be an instructor but you may seriously want to consider becoming one as you did a fab job with this video, very clear and concise - awesome stuff well done! Now I have a question for you can you tell me if there is anyone at Deanland Airfield that can give lessons on Weight Shift Microlights? also who else instructs from there in either fixed-wing or flex that you would recommend learning to fly? Cheers Tom take care mate.

Thanks David, very kind of you to say so! My course takes me to commercial license and to then become an instructor so at least I'm heading in the right direction haha. Only people I know who teach at Deanland is Flight Sport Aviation and they are mostly 3 axis microlights. If you do go there tell them I sent you haha.

Hey Tom, this video is great! I haven't got as far as M&B in my PPL course just yet but I'm trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can en route! I wanna be really cheeky and ask if I can have your spreadsheet! :)

Hi Neil, thanks! My spread sheet only works on the Cabri G2 and is a little temperamental. The app store has quite a few apps for M&B for most aircraft now and they are a lot more reliable, I'd deffo recommend them! I use an app store app now, that makes the process a lot more quicker and easier!
