This is superb, the 9V motors provide amazing power, wow! The part where the train was stopped at maximum gradient on the bridge and just took off again like it was nothing was incredible. This is how all Lego high speed trains should run
I got two sets. It's a heavy train and needs two motors at least. I have 9V and put two motors into it. Works perfectly! Reminds me that I need more 9V motors as back up and my ICE train. :)
Great footage of a great train. But I ask the LEGO Group- It has been 7 years since the Horizon Express was released & LEGO Train lovers are still waiting for the next Creator Expert train...😡
Most likely bumped the voltage up higher than 9v to maybe 24v or what ever voltage without frying the puny motors. Or it could be this and modified motors inside to. (If is it, it is most likely going to be 12v or 24v DC motors inside if they are modified.) It is like overclocking but with a lego train motor until it becomes overpowered. Also the power supply has to be different to deliver the current for more power too.
Correction they are non-modified 9v motors with using 20v - 30v dc. I honestly thought 30v would fry the motor easily. Well it could burn the motor if on too long.

(Je suis américain, j'ai dû utiliser Google Translate pour traduire ma question en français pour que vous puissiez comprendre.) To go so fast we increase the voltage. But beware if too much increase the motors burn ... The track is also a special construction. See : www.freelug.org/spip.php?article1220 www.freelug.org/spip.php?article1719
+luckyfan Isaac I think it isn't, because those electric 9V make that epic sound, and it goes so fast that Doppler-effect isn't impossible. It sounds glorious indeed :D
Absolutely love those curved corners, really brings out the realism of the TGV

This video brought me a lot of joy when I was a kid. Always come back to watch it once in a while
May it bring you joy for many more years to come :)
Those full speed close-ups sound brutal.
Wooooooow that speed was incredible for a Lego train like this one.
I am 26 years old. This video makes me happy.
Don't ya worry I'm 41 and I'm much more happy 😊.
It made me grin .. because my train is nearly as long as this. :)
@@pcuimac MOC or set?
Nice sound of the train running on the tracks.
2:11 to 2:13 the coolest part!
I would love to see a cab view! Fantastic!
2:12 this sounds like a real high speed train flyby😮
holly crap that is longest train for tht set and that city is awsome
This has to be a new world record: Fastest LEGO train!
What a realistic engine noise!
Now that is one fast train on a train set. I've never seen one that fast before. I wish all high-speed trains were that fast, lol 😅😜.
Quoi ?
the sound is amazing! !
Nice!! How did they construct that lego train track? What pieces did they use to pull off such a straight course???
2:28 FASTEST EVER!!!!
trop trop beau à regarder .
The TGV is amazing!
Oui
Awesome!
Wow! Very, very cool.
2:10 2:12 is my favoriete thing! Nice sound!

Why am I just now seeing this? This is incredible the speed!!!
Fascinating layout
woaaaaaaaaaaaaa super...
un rêve d'enfant j'adore...
I would use this to bring food from my kitchen to my living room XD (Cliché but awesome :D)
I tried to do the bank around the turns like on those rails. I just put a 2x2 brick under the rail. Works pretty good.
Дя
De toute façon rien à dire le TGV français c'est une réussite et sa vitesse incroyable (Lego et réalité)
Very nice! What kind of rails are those?
I like those rails. If i had them i would juse them in my lay-out. Very very cool.
wowe, what a speed... nice
love it! thanks!
That is very impressive.
I can't believe that my favorite 🚆 is in lego!!🔥🔥
#Suzy #Wilson yo u can buy this horizon express set

Yes, it's a heavy train. For a complete train, at least 4 motors are required. 6 motors is good ...

That's five Horizon Express's you have there. Mighty impressive!
How many active engines?
There are 4 engines for a train.
Whoa! All on one remote (is that possible)?
NOW I REALLY WANT POWER FUNCTIONS!!! I also want the other end of my train.
Wait, hold up a sec... How many 9v motors are you using???
EuropeanLEGOTrains™ [ELT] lol. You can have mine! I have both ends of my horizon express. But my train will never go this fast!

i've watched this about 10000000000000 times.

Cher France, je accepte votre défi. Préparez-vous à être étourdie!
the horizon express both of them makes a zooming sound
1:24 oops!
2:27 Sounds almost like real train
It does! I think it's because the microphone was super close to the rails
what did they use for rails on the tracks?
Cool music, what is it's name?
so fast!

Yes, that's exactly how the curves of this LGV (High Speed Line) are. You can see it on the video.
I still don't quite understand the curving bridge method, are track and bricks under a lot of strain? What is the secret?
simply so the train can descend faster without running off the rails..

The turns have been specially built to allow Lego trains to run very quickly. The video is not accelerated.
