    This is superb, the 9V motors provide amazing power, wow! The part where the train was stopped at maximum gradient on the bridge and just took off again like it was nothing was incredible. This is how all Lego high speed trains should run

    I tried to do the bank around the turns like on those rails. I just put a 2x2 brick under the rail. Works pretty good.

    I got two sets. It's a heavy train and needs two motors at least. I have 9V and put two motors into it. Works perfectly! Reminds me that I need more 9V motors as back up and my ICE train. :)

      Yes, it's a heavy train. For a complete train, at least 4 motors are required. 6 motors is good ...

      Most likely bumped the voltage up higher than 9v to maybe 24v or what ever voltage without frying the puny motors. Or it could be this and modified motors inside to. (If is it, it is most likely going to be 12v or 24v DC motors inside if they are modified.) It is like overclocking but with a lego train motor until it becomes overpowered. Also the power supply has to be different to deliver the current for more power too.

      Correction they are non-modified 9v motors with using 20v - 30v dc. I honestly thought 30v would fry the motor easily. Well it could burn the motor if on too long.

      Des moteurs 9V ancienne génération.
      Ca va vite parce que nous alimentons ces moteurs à plus de 9V ==> entre 20 et 30 V sur cette vidéo. ;-)

      To go so fast we increase the voltage. But beware if too much increase the motors burn ...

      The turns have been specially built to allow Lego trains to run very quickly. The video is not accelerated.
