BOEING 747 crossing the AUTOBAHN after LANDING - B747 New Generation + Antonov AN124 (4K)

- A Boeing 747 new generation of Air Bridge Cargo crossed the german Autobahn at Leipzig Airport a few days ago. This B747-8F operated a flight from SVO to LEJ and had to land on the northern runway because the southern runway was closed. That´ s why we got this interesting motive. The Boeing 747 had to cross a motorway to get to its parking position.
It` s quite impressive to watch an Antonov An124 or a Boeing 747 casually cross a road. Pretty cool view for the Lorries and cars aswell but you need an extremly great timing if you want to see a Boeing 747 cross the bridge while you are driving with your car beneath it.

Franz Plays - I t DEFINITELY IS NOT Paris since it’s crossing the Autobahn which is in Germany and I don’t think it’s Frankfurt because the sign says Magdeburg which is is in Northern Germany.

I once lived in the area of Leipzig. They built the second runway, which is on the other side of the highway, for those larger planes to be able to operate there, so large planes are using the bridge all the time, but the Antonov is quite a special visitor!
I always passed by Frankfurt airport when they weren’t using that runway out on the other side sadly, always hoped to see the planes cross over the Autobahn. Never knew Leipzig had this occurring so often!
The 225 was here last week for 3 days. Got a good tour of it : )

These bridges are at a lot of major airports. Not unusual.

For a real plane buff there´s nothing to beat the exhaust blast. Good to know that cargo 747 have brought back the sleek lines of the first 747 without the ugly stretched upper deck. Obviously air cargo deserves attention :)

Wow, I’m surprised the bridge can even support that much amount of weight.
What can be seen here is the roller bridge West 1 / North, it is 81.75 m long and West 1 / South with 71.95 m long (two-part prefabricated tensioning bridge) and for heavier loads than the roller bridge East 1 with 187.85 m was calculated for 750t ..., so this is more suitable for the Antonov ...

They landed on the northern runway and I'm living on the other side of this airport, 5 km away. I see them coming in on the southern runway. This bridge caused so many accidents when it was built. So many people driving there didn't see a plane crossing a bridge and they're so fascinated that they don't concentrate on their driving... The most impressive plane landing at this airport is the Antonov AN225

A cool video it's always nice to see these kinds of videos am a bit of an aircraft lover and the good old Boeing 747 400 is one of my favourite planes such as shame these 747s are in their way out ...
In a different note I can just imagine a plane dimming across the bridge and a driver doing some speed and looks up oh there is a plane and suddenly driver rear ends another car / truck can just imagining that happening

Boy, not much room for error on that overpath! To be a pilot not only you obviously have to have lots of training, but also lots or strong nerves. Admirable
This is not a runway for landing or taking off, just part of the taxiway, so planes are crossing always at low taxi speeds.

That quad-paint livery on the Antonov International Cargo did improve its profile, though it's still not as classic and distinctive as the 747's.
