She was in London with Toby Gad to attend the Ivors awards and sang this live at the London Palladium on May 20th. The Awards were on the 23rd I believe.
As you know Toby Gad is the Co Writer of the song and other big hits. And he chose Angelina to sing his song... that speaks volumes, Sir ❤ There is another song that is not released yet... Bad Valentine... it should be released in a few months time. There is though a live version from it on James Thiels CZcams channel which I think you should react to ❤

You freeze ... endlessly listening to her wonderful voice and admiring her fantastic musical sensitivity, even the simplest song that passes through her hands becomes fantastic. She is simply unique and with a wonderful melodic perception. This interpretation (not a cover for me) with one of the authors of the song (Toby Gad), She is so natural with her wonderful walk around London, while singing so beautifully, just like in many of her TikToks and is curative for the your soul and the soft background accompaniment of the instruments give her a beautiful silky backdrop, until that wonderful whispered final phrase "... but you are just a boy". No one captures your soul like this gorgeous girl does! 💛🧡❤
Wow, it's already been 4 years?!! It seems like yesterday when you started to follow Angelina's progression in music! (and us watching in the background 🙂) I'm also not a fan of Beyonce but there are few songs that I like. And "If I were a Boy" is my favourite by Beyonce. I've always thought it's a song that girls/women feel and understand but men should hear in order to understand and feel women. Angelina didn't make huge changes in the performance of the song but her specific voice still made it sound impressive and as if she'd written the lyrics herself. I loved the video, the way she walked the streets in some kind of confident manly way. But at the same time she also comes across as feminine and vulnerable. Simple and beautuful! 👏

Both covers of this are glorious but I prefer the stripped down version Piano Diaries. That version lets her voice absolutely shine. Thanks to Toby for asking her to sing this cover of his song for his Piano Diaries album. Toby is quoted saying, “Working with Angelina has been nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to channel profound emotion through her voice adds a whole new depth to the song.” They are also working on other songs for AJ. This will be huge for her.

I know reactors can get caught up in new material and requests so that someone like Angelina can be lost if you're not reminded periodically and I spend a good deal of time doing that. Finding reactor Angelina fans to remind them. Hard to us to remember you if you are not doing reactions to Angelina in a while. Which can happen if Angelina has a lull in new material.

Also worth reacting to are the original she released in October called Our Time and her incredible performance of Unchained Melody at the Nobel Peace Prize recipient tribute concert. Plus there are great videos from her February Las Vegas concerts on the channels of James Theil and Big Angie Fan. The videos include a new original called Princess Of Ruins which she debuted at the concerts.

I recommend that you also listen to the stripped down Piano Diaries version. Same vocal track as this version but just piano and strings. The simpler instrumentation allows you to hear the texture, details and nuances in her performance more clearly.

I prefer her performance in the church. It's a more stripped down performance with only a cello, piano and her voice. That way her voice is more distinct. Don't agree with you, is not on par with Beyonce , it's better and Beyonce also did a cover of this song.
