- I’m excited to introduce you to my Wolf Mask Pattern, which is perfect for anyone looking to create a unique and personalized wolf mask out of EVA foam. I designed this pattern myself. It is very versatile and can be customized and painted to look however you want. You can use it to be a mask or use the base to create armor pieces, a puppet and more! Do you know if contact cement is safe once cured for long periods of wear?
@@bloopagaloota3961 If you allow it to cure completely it will degas the dangerous fumes, ~72 hrs

What I always wondered is why therians usually go for the more minimalist animal costumes like a mask that only covers the front of your head plus just a tail, rather than a fursuit? No hate of course, I am just very curious because I always thought a fursuit head would be better suited. My best guess is that masks like these are easier to be active in, so better for LARP/roleplay. I DO really LOVE the masks, costumes, and art therians make. Its always got a very lovely fantasy vibe to it ❤
I think you hit the nail on the head. Easier to wear, emote and be active in. I made this design to show my love of stylization, trying to pull the simplest forms that still read wolf, in a beautiful way. The photoshoot I did with this one shows off my love of fantasy

You can also use a strip of duct tape to pull off excess contact cement!

I cannot control what you do, but consider how much time it would take you to try and replicate this. Is hours of your life worth more or less than a $10 pattern. Good luck!

Im pretending to buy the fox max pattern, and was curious to know, if i make the nose bridge smaller to make a chacal, would it ruin the structure? I was planing doing my realistic looking fursuit out of your tutorials and wanted to know if its possible with that pattern...

@@AA-dr4yi I would narrow down all the muzzle peices, if you tape together a paper version of the pattern first it should be easier to tell where to slim it down. I would slowly cut away parts and taping it back together until I like how narrow it is. There is one part that caps off the nose that would need to have a new shape entirely made, but it should be simple to figure it out with the taped together mask. I hope that made sense

Are you able to wear the mask with glasses? I want to try making one, but it needs to have enough space for me to put glasses underneath so I can still see
Yep! Just add some padding inside that rests on your forehead to make the room for your glasses!

Yep! Gap filler is just an optional finishing option
