    Mega-carriers are seeing their last days since CZcams came on the scene and exposed all of their trickery and foolishness. I ain't gonna lie, they had a real strong pimp hand on the drivers for years.

      Some lease yards require safety equipment. Doesn't matter where you are on the lease. Insurance and safety purposes.. or uptight companies.. which leads back to liabilities. So yeah, there is a reason.

    • @CurtisDelzell
      @CurtisDelzell Před 6 lety

      I just went from hauling equipment around to power stations for services rendered during outages to hauling sand in a pneumatic tanker to frac wells. The outages were kinda seasonal and so was the money. With sand, I get 25% of the load plus demurrage, plus any excess hose length setup, a decent insurance package. $2000 - $3000/week is real. You gotta work for it. They keep you running. Sleep when/where you can. You have to be smart with ELD and take advantage of every minute of the HOS oilfield exemption.

    LOL you are out your mind LOL
    Real talk!
    The days of makin money haulin sand is over.
    I used to work for Tutle in the bakken. I was makin 7-13k A WEEK! After fuel and insurances. That was running under their authority. I left when I was makin 5k a week. Its not worth the damage to your truck or the life style.
    The sand box destroyed the business. It droves rates down to over the road rates. I now make 700-1500 a day running my own authority and dispatching myself running OTR.
    Lots of guys have left the fields and lots are keeping a close eye on rates waiting to go back to the oil F.
    But its not worth it any more. Reefer, Flats, step decks and even some dry van loads pay more then what your taking about....
    There are some rate sheets floating around out there showing what was being paid in 2011-2015....
    You see those rates and keep in mind that we ran from load to load all we wanted all we could. Till we fell asleep at fuel pumps standing up lol
    You know u tired when you sleep standing up while blowing off on a frac site LOL
    Those days are gone homie......

    They use the Frac sand to fill the cracks in after Perforating(wire line) the hole it lets the oil flow around the sand and through the sand to get more product from out of that one certain well if you didn't Frac the whole you would get like 30% to 50% of the well value if you fact the whole you get 70% to 85% of the holes value and the sand is 100 mesh but they also have 8020 and have that green s*** that has formaldehyde in it they also have propane frac where they can pull the propane back through and you get more percentage of a well anywhere from 85% too almost 100% propane doesn't freeze when it's cold so you can fac in cold weather like in Canada you cant do that with salt water frac but you can't really propane frac in hotter climates not safe like in the great state of Texas

Got my class A when I was 23 and I can say now that it was a damn good choice for myself. Lookin back at it all, I had a great time. I lost my right eye 4 months ago and good ol fuckin sconsin made me give up my L’s and now I’m fucking dicked for good. No clue wtf I’m fixin to do for the futures of myself for fuck sakes. Ya, I get paid from work comp, big fuckin deal. I only get 2/3 s of my pay. Anyway, for y’all young drivers out there, give it time and you will learn how to make the cash and be at the top of the dispatch list and make a damn name fer yer self. Money isn’t all that’s good in life but it sure helps out dont it!!!! Lol. Just remember one thing!!! Take it from me,.....please! Live life the way YOU want to live it! Do your job what ever it may be, to the best of your ability, but most of all, LIVE LIFE on YOUR damn terms!! Always do what’s right no matter the cost, and for fucking god sakes, stay off the hard drugs!!!! God bless y’all young ones, and keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!!!! God bless mankind, and god bless all the fuckin haters!!!! Lol
