  • A natural slingshot made from an Ash fork. I finished it with beeswax paste and banded it up with snipersling black 0.5mm cut at 20-12mm tapers. Please view my playlists on how to aim a slingshot and how to make slingshot bands. Thank you

    Another beautiful, bark on natural, great job Chris........question on your spindle sander ? Do you feel it is more cost effective to just zip tie sandpaper to the spindle as opposed to using the sanding sleeves that are replaceable ?

    • @CatapultCarnage
      @CatapultCarnage  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes and the sanding sleeves only go up to 220 grit or something where as the 150mm pads go up to 3000 grit

      @@CatapultCarnage cool, wasn't expecting that quick a reply so thanks Chris. I've been building mostly naturals for about 4-5 years now and their my favorite material to work with.....you never know what beautiful grain is lurking inside one. I managed to find some Spalted White Oak recently from a downed tree, that has the wildest grain I've ever seen for spalting.

    It's defenitly a cool slingshot,
    BUT, how 'natural' is it when you use numerous electrical apliances for sanding etc.?
    Realy natural would, in my mind, mean how to make it without the use of those sanding machines....
