That's dope Tupac was talking about Salts child in Keep ya head up I always wondered . That's dope
It's because, just like other DESPERATE INSECURE black American men, he WORSHIPPED LIGHT SKINNED/BIRACIALS. Pathetic.
Salt N Pepa got the kind of vibe where I can sit through a whole interview w/ them and not get bored. Great interview
Natasha that's cos of they whole vibe period
15:00 the pac part
+joyman07 thanks.. lol
good job
thank you
appreciate it
+joyman07 Thank you
Tupac looked SO GOOD in that video
So that's who 2pac was talking about when he said a lil girl named Karin. Amazing
they both look so good
Specially Salt!!
Indeed
The God mothers of hip hop. .true indeed...these women need to be inducted into the Rock n Roll hall of fame
Pac, smash everybody.
Then they had the nerve to block his face out in their
What a man video an just showed his tattoo. Why???? Whelp... they felt like he would have fuked up their image. Word is he was MAD as hell for that bullshyt.
Meanwhile pep showed treach face an he was whoopin her ass !
Now she wanna name drop. These chicks are phony as hell.
THE GODMOTHER OF HIP HOP IS SHA- ROCK!!!!
One of the dopest hip hop groups of all times
Lol, my nigga Pac got em a "gun shaped cake."
LOl... I did.
they prob thought it was a dick shaped cake at first
Salt n pepa are the female version of run-dmc. Facts they broke down all the barriers for women in the rap game
Actually Roxanne shante and mc lyte....jj fad ECT did it first but ok
Damien Smith....the only one who would for that bill would be Roxanne Shante. SnP was already established before JJ.Fad & MC Lyte picked up a pen. No disrespect to those ladies though.....
I’m gonna go a step further and mention The Sequence on Sugar Hill Records...Not disrespectful to anyone!
It's cute how they finish each other sentences
Yup!! They blend together like salt & pepper for real!!! Lmaoo
Who else fast forwarded through to the pac part?
I jus did😭😭all these yrs i didn't know that was pac in what ah man video🙈
You shouldn't they the greatest 👑
pepa looks really well love the red hair
Martin Lawrence and Kid n Play both worked at Sears and Salt n Pepa all worked at a Sears location wow never knew that
To be a fly on the wall. All that talent would have been amazing to be around.
Yeah that's crazy right ? I never knew it either.
Martin said that when he was on Monique talk show.. He's also Play cousin
@@marvinwillis2742 now I didn't know that Martin is Play cousin cool this for the info
They represent a time when black women LOVED their black men! I miss those days.
Vice Versa! When black men loved black women lol
mizzkaykay93 Well, I guess you have a point there, lol
+J. Jermane lol yes!
+J. Jermane
preach it ...teach it
+J. Jermane because for one thats all they knew (when you know better, you'll do better) and for two the men were REAL back then......now they all look, act and sound a like even have the same damn stories.

I love Salt n Pepa's, they are beautiful women.
Salt N Pepa interviews are always enjoyable to watch. I just wish this interview was longer. I still listen to their old stuff.
Seriously, I worked in radio biz when 'push it' came out. They really werent just first female rap act to break through to Top40/Mainstream, but really first rap act, period.
I love the story, i remember in 86 when i first saw their vid, Long live Salt N pepa
Respect 4 representin pac in a special way, i can imagine that he had a strong Aura.. defenitely all eyes on him and on salt n pepa, wheres the third girl?

Pac was a smart, wise, brave young black activist rising to the top way above his rap image, not to mention he was a handsome heartbreaker no homo! Pac would have been force to be reakon with!

She been under the knife
Ya got that right! Just like Fine, Wine And Cheese, lookin' Betta and finer wit' age! No doubt Da Olda Da Betta!
Me and my best friend back then, she is Puerto Rican and me being black. We tried to be salt and pepper, with them iconic Bob's hair style.Yes they made a mark and lefted a I print period. And me and my friend was from New Jersey where it all started, but it started in New York City and it spread!!That was the best year's of my life and ppl was good about watching out for the kid's,even if they was not your's,and being a community that watched out for one another.

JenBklyn you the one girl.
notice how they said Missy Elliott real quick and didn't want a collab with Nicki Minaj @32;24
what a great interview I loved it
These ladies are a class act in hip hop. Much respect!
That circle of success is real yet rare. I'm referring to how Salt, Pepa, Kid, Play & Martin Lawrence all succeeded after working at Sears together. And still remaining as friends. It would've been cool to see Salt & Pepa make an appearance in House Party.....
When they were talking about the break up of the group it made me think of Lauryn Hill.
That was so awesome!!! There music mothered me when I wanted to be happy!!!Especially when my mom dad in the six grade. TLC got it from them! They disgust talking about sex very fun and non sexually....I sort of raised myself on there music.Always love them!!!
discussed
I love them 😍😍😍😍😍😍
I love these 2 ladies..always good to hear from them. I hope they give us some new music soon.
Salt n Pepa needs to be sprinkled on top of a new young protégé to continue that legacy. not saying them rapping won't be successful but I'd love to see it happen
Bring back Salt n Pepa on wax... Pepa wants it u can tell.
Awesome interview!
MY BOOOOOOSKEES!!! PEP HAIR..LUVVVVVVVVV
Where's Spin at??? DJ Spinderella!! Where u at, ma?? Lol
Eddie DeSilva lol same thing I said
They don't consider her to be apart of their group 🤷🏽♀️
@@kkeaton6996 she just said some times it’s just them 2 and sometimes it’s 3 are just spin
@@prettyhandsomegang5227 No I meant in general, they have said that in several other interviews that they are Salt N' Peppa and she is just the Dj (not in a nasty way though)
She's not in the group anymore
love this
Salt was my favorite in da group. Rip 2pac
Great interview. Jen is beautiful.
