  • The V-buckle product family was designed as a closure system for high forces, requiring added security, e.g. on baby carriers. Created with a unique design, it is self-securing: the more load is sustained by the fastener, the harder it is to open. Additionally, this design allows the V-buckle male and female parts to be combined freely, meaning the female split bar component can be used in combination with e.g. the V-buckle male 40. The fastener is opened by simply tilting the flap on top. Due to the attractive force, the magnetic fastener components link automatically and securely lock, when brought into position. Regarding the customisation of the buckle, the stainless-steel flap is available in four different finishes and can be individualised by a logo. The buckles in this section are suitable for safety-related applications, rewarding users with a peace of mind and a fastener, tailored to suit their personal needs and wishes. The use on dog collars is only permitted after intensive testing by the customer. Using the V-buckle on dog leashes is excluded.
The V-BUCKLE product family can be used for versatile products. Possibilities include application areas such as footwear, bags, sports & outdoor gear and carrying systems.
Installation: The V-BUCKLE is simply attached to the relevant straps. Depending on the combination of single bar and ladderlock components, the straps can be adjusted on one side, both sides or feature no adjustability.
Individualization: The V-BUCKLE is available in different colours and can be customized with your logo. Options include printed, lasered and punched logos. Visit our customization page for additional information.

In terms of what? These are magnetic buckles that you can open and close by one hand. Cobra buckle made with a diifferent approach.

Not good for dog collars. If the pull cord gets caught up in branches or bushes, the dog can unbuckle itself. There should still be a mechanical lock.

I don’t think a dog collar is the use case for this lock…

This buckle is potentially more dangerous to use on bag, because it's easier for thief to open it and stole the bag - he just needs to pull the cord.

a buckle is a buckle. All my pairs of trousers have a buckle,in 50 years ive never had a trouser buckle come undone, all my trouser buckles can be opened and closed with one hand. And i dont think ive paid more than £9 for a belt and buckle. This is an EDC designer fashion buckle. Invented to solve a problem that didnt exist.

@@archie2archie I love my smartphone pouch with the FIDLOCK V-BUCKLE - closes without having to look and you get an audible click for confirmation. Easy to open without looking, one hand opens the pouch, gets the phone out and unlocks via the fingerprint scanner. I also have a bigger bag that I keep my camera in for fast shots and protection from the elements, comes handy too. It's not like they are saying you have to use it, or that it must be used for pants.
