I FIXED my EVERGOODS CAS2 with a FIDLOCK Buckle!! Here's how I did it!

- Hey guys! Short video to show you how I installed the Fidlock on the EVERGOODS CAS2. The buckle and lack of strap keepers were my biggest complaint. All you need for this is a pair of strap keepers, a fidlock buckle (40mm) and a sharp knife (serrated works best). Hope this helps if you decide to do this yourself! Thanks for watching! -JB

Hey I remember as soon as I got cas 2 right when it had just come out, I immediately swapped the plastic buckle and no webbing organizers to a nice blacked dual adjustable 38mm cobra buckle and the plastic key hook it came with for a niteize high grade aluminum lockable S carabiner, which made me experience the bag so much more pleasantly

great mod! I really wish evergoods did this from the start!
I offered several bits of constructive feedback to the CS team at evergoods on the CAS2. I asked for better internal organization, a longer standard strap, and strap keepers. Fidlock is a take it or leave feature for me. They don’t bother me but don’t add value for me either. This product has the potential to be really excellent if they do a version two with some upgrades.

How’s it working out? Curious if the fidlock is playing nice with the webbing they use any slippage after you adjust it where you want it?
Wow! You and Bo Ismono are complete opposites on the fitlock thing. He loves this bag because it doesn’t come with one. (FYI, I got an Aer sling because it had one.)

Good idea but now I just want the buckle to be on the side instead of center. I also prefer the Magslider since this feels too easy to unhook.
You couldn’t just force lopping the webbing, instead of cutting the bar tacks?
Just to note the like for the FIdlock buckle is not working.
