Do you cruise often?
RIU Nassau is a great resort for a day pass was there a few months ago staff top notch and it is beautiful. That said you goofed in getting the private taxi RIU is so close to Atlantis, and they will just put you in a taxi going there with little wait.
Yes, it’s a beautiful resort and a great way to spend a day in Nassau.
In regards to the transportation, they wouldn’t put us in a bus with the Atlantis guests. We saw them fill three buses with guests going to Atlantis while we stood off to the side for over ten minutes.
I asked the lady how long it would be and she looked at me like a deer in headlights so I made an executive decision and opted for a private cab ride.😎

Yes, I wasn’t very thrilled about it at all! We were the only ones going to the RIU and we kept seeing buses leaving with people going to Atlantis!
I wasn’t willing to wait until eight more people showed up to go to the RIU to fill one of their buses so I made an executive decision.

No this excursion is a resort for a day option. You can take transportation within the port to get there and there’s plenty of transportation to get you back to the port from the RIU Palace.
