- Today we challenge @jdsanchez___ to do a 540 on the Vert Ramp with a $15 Dollar Walmart Skateboard! Here's the catch: If he can land the trick with the board as is, he wins $100 dollars. If not, it will cost him various cash values to swap out different parts of the board until he can land it! This was a super fun challenge, how much money do you think JD will walk away with today?!

I did a much less successful version of this video skating vert with a nine dollar Walmart board. I was able to do rock ‘n’ roll, rock to fakies, feebles and such. I couldn’t do a 540 on it.

Just want to say I watched Braille for 5 years or so pretty heavily. I'm too old and out of shape to skate myself, so I lived vicariously through these guys. Obviously with anything the videos became a bit cyclical( I get the pressure of content creation as an individual let alone a team, not a complaint just the reality) so the massive vert ramp was a breath of fresh air. After Aaron's big accident the vertical content stopped and my watching feel off immediately. I was happy to see this in my recommended list today. More vert please.
You can’t be to old and out of shape if you want to skate go for it I’m a pretty heavy person and I haven’t done anything off the couch in 2 years my muscles are toast but I’m back at skating just start off slow I can only go for 30-60 minutes a day but that’s better than nothing and In a few weeks I can take it up a notch don’t stop yourself from loving the sport if you want to do it! Much love

How does he skate like that
It would be cool if you did it with a time limit or attempt limit putting more pressure on him. Also trying with a street skater and if they break it they lose the cost of the board and have to start with a new one
Was the lightness mostly due to the plastic trucks? I can see where a plastic truck would appeal, but on grinds it would get shredded. And on gaps would collapse and probably wheel bite.
That's the Wal-Mart curse dude. Plus, Gabe is gonna go broke with these challenges haha

I have a challenge you guys should do. I saw in the flooring department Home Depot sells “skateboard kneepads” by a brand called roberts. Im pretty sure their intended purpose is construction, but it would be cool to see a comparison between those and actual kneepads like 187 pads
Can you change the wheels back, tape the plastic back on, and return it?
Does having the right pair of shoes help pop an olie im having trouble and im in sneakers i got it to fly in the air with me so far
