• $75 Cheap Bike Challen...
In part 1, we had a $75 budget to go out and find the best mountain bike we could find. Had to be a mountain bike. We all went different directions as you saw.
In part 2, we had an additional $75 to modify the bikes with parts laying around the shop, our own personal spare parts, or had to buy at retail parts needed at the shop.
As you can see in the video, we all had different ideas.

The Huffy actually looks like a decent, entry level hardtail. The Specialized looks dialed for an upgraded 90s MTB. I’d have to go with the Huffy as the winner though.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah the Huffy turned out good minus that it weighs the most at 37lbs! It needs some work, but could potentially be a good bike for someone. Thanks!

Ha, oh yeah I forgot about the Nukeproof Scout! So many Scouts out there apparently. Yeah, it could be done... but.... ha!
This is a cool idea but it would be better if the participants took it more seriously and didn’t buy kids bikes. FB market place is full of cheap and capable bikes but of course much older and needing repairs.
Ha, agreed. That's my fault, I should have been more clear, that they had to be adult bikes! I guess that's what happens when you ask kids to go buy bikes for the video. Oh well, it was fun. Yeah, FB market place had a lot of junky Walmart bikes, but I was patient and waited for mine to show up.
