Because the kids did so well in the music video, and because Queen weren't touring anymore due to Freddie's illness, they used to joke that they should just send the kids out on tour and promote the album.

Freddie wrote this he was getting pretty sick by this time. Brian said this is his favorite Queen song, because Freddie wrote this with such positivity when he was so sick. Should do the Invisible Man next. It’s a lot of fun. Thanks for the Queen🔥

This has always been one of my favorite Queen videos. And what's really a miracle is that Freddie and John were the main writers. Freddie managed to write a song about all these miracles, how miraculous life was when he knew he didn't have much time left. He was already pretty sick here (you can always tell by the beard), but he was still able to see all the amazing little things in life. That's our Freddie.

I loved it too when the real band members came out standing beside the kids like proud daddies! Your definitely right its sort of a mini tour of the different looks Freddie took on over Queen's history. The long hair and harlequin catsuit was in the early to mid 70's, up till '77, the leather biker look was in the late 70's, the iconic 1985 Live aid look and the yellow military jacket he wore after. oh, i was like about 7 or 8 when i went to the casting for the video! there is backstage material of a hall full of kids acting like queen and i was one of them ... i even made it quite far in the casting, but my problem was: i was too young and i didn't understood anything! ^^+gg as i was a young "german kid" (!), well, ... i was not really into english language *haha ... everytime somebody ask me something i just turned my eyes to my mum and: "what did the man said?" *haha ... but a great experience anyway :-) and freddie became kind of a god to me, because i realisied, that i will never be as good as he is! but it truely changed my life, yes!

My gaydar was always going off with Freddy. He chose the name of the band which he said meant royalty. But, every gay knows what a queen is. It’s an effimenit catty diva sometimes old gayman. At that time no straight man would call himself queen. The others went along with because Freddy tho most of the time fair insisted on it. They knew who Freddy was and excepted it or just didn’t care. They were all straight. And Freddy and Roger had a friendship that might gone back to the 60’s because they a clothing store at a market or bazaar together that was way back. These kids as Freddy all look a little effeminate
