Another candy I like to make at Christmas is peanut clusters. I use semisweet chocolate chips and a can of salted peanuts and a white chocolate candy bar. I microwave the chocolate chips, stir in the peanuts, spoon cookie size chunks onto a tray and refrigerate until hard. Then I microwave the white chocolate bar and drizzle on top just to make them look more decorative. Not sure how it would taste but for dollar tree ingredients you could probably melt some white frosting to drizzle on top if you can’t find white chocolate. It’s sooo good.

I want to say that I enjoy your program very much. I love all the ideas you give out. I did your suggestion and on peeling the hard boiled eggs and PERFECT. I am 65 years old and never could get it right until 2 days ago.. LOL.. also the idea of putting the baggy over a glass and fill the deviled egg mixture was perfect too. I hope you just roll off the stuff other folks say. You do wonderful.

I guess serving so many different audiences-and you really do, more than anyone I recall on CZcams cooking-gets you all the vicious aunties/uncles.
Good on you for a revisit using three different chocolates. And good on you for saying your preferences so regular watchers with different tastes can gauge. As others have said, you’ve saved a lot of people time and money in experimentation, so thank you very sincerely.

I can appreciate your revelation that you're an empath & a people pleaser, BUT...me being a shrink (i.e., a psychologist), I winced & thought, "Don't tell people that until it's necessary; that's how getting taken advantage of might occur...." However, your empathic nature shines in your vid clips. Keep doing what you're doing!

I agree with your fave- pretzels with dark chocolate! Why my kids were little, we would dip pretzel rods into chocolate and add sprinkles. Loved that the kids could do it pretty much on their own and tasted yummy!

    Nice job!!!!!!!
I don't think people trolled so much as let Rebecca know that Christmas Crack is something that is really, really delicious!!!!!!!
Sometimes, stale crackers can do it. Chocolate that has "bloomed" can do it.
I think going back and trying again shows a lot of courage and willingness to take into consideration the audience.
And I will say, Rebecca, that I am glad you tried again, and am SO glad you like the pretzels!!! That's my favorite.

Atta girl for trying it again AND using the margarine since butter is not available at DT ~ good to know about the ritz cracker style ones at DT I will give those and the graham crackers as well a try for sure ! I could tell as you were stirring the toffee portion of it and the color and extra time cooking was def. going to be a success lol ! as for those people who may be not so kind in their comments, well perhaps they need to get in front OF THE CAMERA themselves as often as YOU do and let us judge what THEY come up with !! ( sorry but it makes me mad to know anyone would give you grief for what you do !! 👿😠 Merry Christmas to you and Michael ~

Christmas Crack recipe??? Thought you could mess with us huh???? Not a chance!! - You did great and may have started a new tradition. Mosaic Christmas Crack.
I would love to see you attempt tourtiere (French Canadian meat pie). It doesn't have to be "traditional". I think you could really find something fun and different. My mum made it and I never got HER recipe down before she passed away. There are many variations out there but I haven't been able to make my mum's. For those of you who have family members or friends and treasured recipes? Sit down with them. Write down the recipes!! Don't wait till tomorrow to do it. Mum and I thought we'd have time. We didn't. ❤❤❤

We all have different tastes and recipes can vary from region to region and family to family. Thank you for trying so many different ones and for your recommendations. This is not something we make or even knew about, but if it ever came up I have an idea what my family would like thanks to you.

I love your stuff for cheap down and dirty stuff.
If you go off script with the chocolate and mix in different chocolates like you're doing (I do it the fancy paint way with a rigged up glass bowl double boiler)... when you mix two or more different kinds of chocolate it definitely gives you a nice richer fudgier taste. I just started to seriously mess with chocolate this year, looks like you know enough to be dangerous :). Not using metal tools (good thing) and being careful about keeping the steam and water from the boiling pot out of the way of the chocolate.
Definitely get some almond bark (white choc), some semi sweet, dark, bitter and get in mind something to make like more x-mas crack or just a peanut/mini marshmallow cluster. Throw a hand full of the different chocolates in there to melt and blend together, I did some peanuts and caramel bits in the bottom of a skull and a heart muffin pans.
I love watching the way other people cook or do projects. I might be an old fart but I see new ways of doing things and seeing new things I want to try. Also love seeing how people doctor up regular store items to make them a little more "home made" tasting.
