Bought it yesterday. Anyone who hesitates - guys they are MINDBLOWING! I have heard many monitors (yamaha, Adam Audio T5V Presonus, Pioneer) and this is what I was looking for. You can hear every detail and even in a small room you can adjust them to sound powerfull without any distort. I am trully amazed. Using it for mixing, composing and mastering and they will serve me well. Thank you for your film, keep the good work you do!! 😊
@@m.j.1514 yea, I am not professional producer, I have my Focals 50 in my room (not so big, 4x3 m2) and they serve me perfectly, the quality is very good and I am satisfied with them very much 😊
just bought the 65s last week and I love the sound of these. Pro tip, If the 50 or 65 is to much $$$, have a look on the Kali-audio LP-6. They´re sounding very similar to me. The Kali´s just have a little less crispy high-end
I have for 5 years a jbl 308p , but use to have a room 3 mts x 7 mts. Now I have everything in my room of 3.2 mts x 3.2 mts. So between monkey banana turbo 5 and this focus Evo 5 because of space . Produce only electronic music. Thanks

Only if you have a larger space. The 50’s will work better in a smaller room.

Yes I like it most of the times in the back, since you don't use is daily/weekly but control the volume from your audio interface.
It’s a studio monitor. It’s not marketed for a portable speaker. Your volume control is the mixing desk.

It depends on your room size! You don’t put an 80 in a small room. It just won’t work. Bass build up. Buy the size according to the application.
