Do you think these are good to be a PROFESSIONAL main set of monitors? I would assume so from the 99/100 rating. I’m upgrading from entry level monitors and want to move to a TRULY PROFESSIONAL set soon (this month). I think I’ve read every review online for these 😂. It would be great to get a go ahead from someone with pro credentials.
Wayne these weren’t the highest rated though no? The Adam Audio A7V was rated 100 these got a 99. I had to check the post date of the videos to see if I was trippin. I wasn’t. Debating between the two
Struggling with these alot. Cant work out whats right an left is it from listening position or from way they facing, i have bass on outside speaker is that right?? So closest to listening spot, also trying to use sonnar/soundid but the auto volume effects the input levels
Ive been doing alot of research and what ive concluded is that between the both it comes down to preference which doesnt make a decision any easier lol
@@jesusguevara3675 tbh i went with a pair of lcd-x i needed something to level up my game and unfortunately can’t afford higher tier speakers sadly i gotta wear them all day but i levelled up instantly they making you sweat for it tho lol
Won’t lie to you, I was in a studio with the Evos for the first time while recording and mixing. The sound was beautiful on them while I was there, all of us loved it. Got back to home base studio with the hs8 and subwoofer to take another listen… song sounded NOTHING like what it did before we left that other studio. So I’m literally purchasing them because of the smoothness and clarity I experienced. It’s a HUGE difference. (My hs8s were new when I bought them, had them 2 years now. None smoking space, And barely any movement besides a studio remodel)
first sorry for the late response just seen these comments but The main reason is they sound like they have a limiter on them or something And you would figure 4 7inch they should hit hard ass hell and they don’t the only way i can explain is put i limiter on your master and turn the setting up that’s how they sound when you turn them up the alpha ones before these hit hard ass hell there not dual but they hit hard ass hell
The focal evo twin are trash…I just returned them they kept going in and out ..then one day after having them 1week the left monitor just stopped working.…..
You got a defected one. Mine are fuckin awesome. I had your issue with Kali, I got them and the left one stopped working after 1 day, Than I saw it was made in china and switched to Focal
@@Nahmannahman420 even before the 1 monitor stopped working I was having regrets on buying them they just sounded horrible in my room. But it’s great to know they sound awesome in your room.
@@ayor3asxn149 I will tell you that. I felt a bit disapointed when I got them after the Kali because they were missing some low ends compare to the Kali (8inch vs 6.5). But after I got used to them I feel it was the right purchase considering my room is pretty small.
