The XLT has a steel wheel as a spare whereas the Sports & Wildtrak have alloy wheels as the spare.
Me personally I think the Sports model (+$2.5K) is worth it for the extras you get. The touring pack is a must. I wish the matrix headlights were an option for the XLT & Sports. Series 2 should see this 👌

Look, ford had 2 huge problems, The transmission and the engine. The transmission sucks. It's gonna crap out on you. They're always in the shop because of it.
The engine depends on the quality of Diesel you get. If you get thick, sulfur rich diesel, you'll have to dilute it. Otherwise it's got about 5 years before the headache really starts.
Outside of these 2 items, it's the best driving, feeling, performing, most comfortable pickup in it's range.
