@clairejames642 That is ridiculous to use the self-parking mode to leave the parking space.
I tied this for the first time a few weeks back, it’s reversed back to the gutter. Wil stick to doing it myself moving forward

I’m so glad I know how to drive, because that takes way to much time
I see it being more useful if someone is driving the car who isn't very confident in parking such a large vehicle. Can't see myself ever using mine except maybe to entertain the kids lol.

Its works well on mine right up till it jams the towball into the car behind. I noticed that one also backed up until a full beep on the reverse sensors{TOO LATE!} I'll keep using my human senses and driving experience.
In the previous Ranger /Everest you didn’t need to hold down the park button, what’s up with that?
Maybe it was hitting curbs etc and this way u can release and it stops

Depending on which trim level you have, there are options via the view screen menu to change the information that is displayed on the digital dash display. Including different layout options.

Xlt doesn't have this feature . Wild track and raptor only

Old version was waay better, easier and faster one button. Now you have to push this and that and hold something.
Are people so inept now they can't park a truck themselves? This would be nice for the disabled or elderly drivers.

Stupid systems, they take too lon, when you get caught behind someone who is trying to activate it, if you can't reverse park the vehicle you shouldn't be driving the vehicle.
At the same time you loose some of your skills.

Yes, if you can't reverse park then you should not be driving the vehicle.
Indeed I prefer adaptive cruise over auto park
